The Beginning
The Evil Flower Boys
One month more to go before school starts again. Suzy has still more time to earn money for college and decide what school to attend.
“Mom, I’m home!” Suzy shouted while taking her shoes off by the door.
“Hello, sweetheart,” Mrs. Bae replied while heading downstairs.
“Is dad home already?” she asked, hanging up her body bag on a hook on the wall.
“Not yet. His summer class will end at 9 o’clock,” Mrs. Bae answered, heading to the kitchen.
Suzy’s mother looks younger than her age. She has a porcelain face, her hair is long and wavy, and her body is a total opposite of Suzy. She is slim while Suzy is not. You’ll never notice that she is married and had two daughters.

Suzy laughed. “Are you kidding, mom? Who will like me? I am ugly, unattractive…”
“No, you’re not.”
“Yes, I am. You are only saying that because you are my mom. Even dad says that.”
“How about Kai?”
Suzy almost choked up. She drank a glass of water and said, “No, no. He is just being kind to me.”
“Hey, look, you are blushing,” Mrs. Bae daughter.
Suzy placed her palms on her cheeks. “Am I?”
Mrs. Bae nodded with a smile on her face.
“Ugh. You caught me, mom. Okay, I like him. But him? Liking me? It’s hopeless.”
“How sure are you?”
“101% sure. Even my best friend says so.”
“Oh, Kyungsoo? That kid. Does he know anything about love?”
“I’m not sur
