“Ms. Yoon, this is really embarrassing but thank you for buying me these beautiful clothes,” Suzy said while holding the paper bags of clothes they bought. She felt uncomfortable with the new way she looked but she knew it was for the better. She was wearing a white Terranova jean shorts, gray Zara blazer with dark blue H&M shirt inside and blue wedge shoes. Her puffy hair was in a bun.

Eun Hye smiled and nodded. “No problem, Suzy. I just can’t imagine you’re wearing those…um, weird clothes everyday. I’m sorry for the word.”

Suzy smiled sheepishly. “It is okay, Ms. Yoon. I guess I should really change my fashion.”

“U-huh. You look older wearing those clothes to be very honest.”

Suzy chuckled. “Thanks, Ms. Yoon. I’ll pay you after I receive my salary. I promise.” Oh no. I remember. Kris won’t give me my first salary.

“No need, Suzy. That’s for free but…make sure not to leave my evil brother’s house. Okay?”

Suzy gulped unsurely. “I hope…I mean…okay, Ms. Yoon.”

Eun Hye petted Suzy’s head and said, “I’ll leave you now. I’m going to meet someone.”

“Are you going on a date?”

Eun Hye just chuckled. “Maybe.  You look better with your new attire. Bye, Suzy.”

“Bye, Ms. Yoon!” Suzy shouted while waving at Eun Hye leaving.

Since Suzy won’t receive her salary according to Kris, she tried to look for another job but unfortunately, she failed. So, she just went home disappointedly.

As she arrived at Kris’s evil lair, Kris also arrived. He dropped off from a taxi. “W-where’s your car?” Suzy asked.

Kris rolled his eyes. “You’re acting innocent. You damaged my car, remember?”

“Oh. I-I’ll go inside now.”

“Hey!”

She spun around. “Hmm?”

“What’s with the new attire? You bought new clothes because Myungsoo said that you are his girlfriend?” he scoffed.

She looked at her new clothes and shook her head. “No! Um, your sister bought me these.”

“STEP-sister. For what? So you won’t leave this house?”

“How did you know?”

He scoffed. “She always do that. Bribing.” Then he headed inside of the house, saying, “Stick with that attire. You look like a real human now.”

Instead of being happy, Suzy didn’t like what Kris had said. It’s not a compliment. It’s an insult. “Real human? So, what am I? An animal? Evil air-head!”
