“Are you mute or something?” the tall guy grumbled.

Suzy pursed her lips and shook her head.

The tall guy frowned and was about to close the gate by banging but Suzy blocked it with her right foot.

“Ouch!” She bit her lower lip, enduring the pain.

The guy glared at her. “Stupid! Get lost, okay?”

“Wait! Wait! I’m not mute and stupid. I am here to apply.” Suzy smiled sheepishly.

“Apply?” He scoffed. “I don’t need a clown.”

“EH?!” Suzy crossed her brows. She pointed the guy. She was fuming. “You’re insulting me, aren’t you?” She wasn’t supposed to act like this in front of her boss. Where did she get that self-confidence?

Suzy gritted her teeth. Instead of leaving, she hurriedly pushed the gate open and run away, going inside the guy’s yard. His house was huge. It has two floors, a garden, and a veranda.

“HEY! I’LL SUE YOU FOR TRESPASSING! COME BACK HERE!” the guy shouted, fuming. He caught Suzy by grabbing her arm and tried to push her away.

While the guy was pushing Suzy away, she begged, “No, no, please don’t do this to me! I need a job so badly! Please I beg you!”

Suddenly, a beautiful girl who just came in barged in, “Stop it, Kris.”

Kris Wu, it is. Kris stopped pushing Suzy away and asked in a cold tone, “What are you doing here?”

The girl looked at Suzy. “Hi. My name is Yoon Eun Hye. Kris’s older sister.”

“STEP-sister,” Kris cleared out.

Yoon Hye rolled her eyes. “Whatever.” Then she turned her sight towards Suzy. “Your name?”
