The next day....

I was awoken from my sleep by the sound of birds chirping. I wanted to prepare breakfast for myself and Shin Hye but realised that the table was already set up with buttered toasts and sunny side up eggs. My immediate reaction was to check the bedroom where Shin Hye slept last night. The bed was made up and the pillows were placed neatly to its original place. I went out to look for her. Maybe she was seating at the beach perhaps. I ran out with my bedroom slippers and she was nowhere to be found. She left the scene. I was about to get into my car when I realised she had left me a note on my windshield held in placed by the wipers of the car. I flipped the note and read its content. 

Dear Min Ho,

I've already prepared breakfast for you. You slept so soundly and peacefully that I did not want to bother you. Yesterday's kiss was a mistake. Let's pretend it didn't happen. I'm speaking as an old friend. We can't be doing this. It's not fair for your girlfriend. It would be cruel of me to do this to her. She don't even know about our history and not that she has or needs to know. We've moved on... We're 15 years too late don't you think? I wish you all the happiness in the world for I know you are a nice guy. Treat her well and take care of yourself.

I couldn't believe she left without any notice. I ate what she had prepared for me with bittersweet feelings. There's so many things that ran through my mind. I felt betrayed yet guilt was surrounding me as well. Guilt that what Shin Hye said was true but my selfish heart felt betrayed by Shin Hye who left without informing. If she had informed me would I let her go? Probably not. She knew me so well. 

For the rest of the week after that incident, I couldn't get my mind off of her. There was a sense of regret. A regret of betraying Min Sun? Honestly? Nope. A regret that I did not manage to convince Shin Hye that I was there to stay and wait even if I had to. 

I started to do extreme things to meet her again. I called her agency "Starry Butterflies" to request for her service again as Cassandra but
