After a few hours, Kai’s cold/fever/whatever it was started to fade away. He was under Kyungsoo’s constant care, and he didn’t mind it one bit.

“Kai, drink your medicine.”

“Kai, here’s one more blanket.”

“Kai, dinner’s ready.”

Love is not so simple though. Once your heart is broken, it’s hard to mend and give easily to others. Things had to be taken slowly and carefully. Kyungsoo would never blindly fall in love. Kai would have to wait for a while.

Chanyeol and Baekhyun were watching their friend’s relationships develop. Kyungsoo talked a little more now, and Kai was looking happier. Who knew people that started out so shakily could end up helping each other?

On the other hand, Chanyeol and Baekhyun were oblivious to each other's feelings. If someone on the street had shot a glance at the two, they would've assumed they were already a couple. Right now, they were just "friends". Nothing romantic had been revealed yet. Although the two of them were itching to confess to each other. Anyone could see it in the way they looked at another. It was just pure love, and possibly (ual) frustration for not being able to say their feelings. Oh well. Guess it would have to wait until one of them plucked up enough courage. But how long would that take?

Chanyeol decided to take Baekhyun out one day. Not on a date, of course. One would describe it as a friendly outing for friends. Yeah, those were the right words. FRIENDS.
