Luhan entered to see his father's leather chair abandoned, be the loss of his lover, DeokHwa's back. His father was preoccupied with his thoughts, peering out the crystalline window. He seemed to loom over the humans, despite his stunted height, as they tried to accomplish as much as they could in their limited time. Luhan stepped forward once more, secretly enjoying the gentle support the sapphire carpet offered when he shifted his weight.

"The Canadian rejected the gene," Luhan softly stated. He quickly added, "However, the Korean is ours. She's a purebred." He slipped this news in, for he knew attaining a single purebred would be the equivalent of having 50 hybrids. 

Deokhwha turned to him, a smile dominating the lower half of his face. "Very well, then."
