Chapter 4

Kim Jongin

"Alright, I have news." Kris said as he sat down in the restaurant.

The boys went out to eat a few weeks after Kai had taken Aisha home. Mostly D.O and Sehun made fun of him playfully about it. Kai hadn't been able to see her very much besides in the hallway after they were done for the day, but he did check up on her frequently.

"What's the news?" Suho asked. The waiter came, took their orders, and left before Kris began to speak.

"Well, you guys know all about the rumors going around about the girl group, right?"

"Not to be rude, but Hyung, who hasn't?" said Baekhyun. Chanyeol and Chen snickered.

"Anyway, what about the girl group?" Kai asked. He wanted to know if it concerned Aisha.

"So, out of all the girls they have, they chose the three newest trainees and one of the older ones. A lot of the other girl trainees are furious." Kris continued. "About eight of the long term trainees quit. Anyway, their names..." He pulled out a slip of paper.

"Wait how do you know so much about this group?" Xiumin asked.

"If you guys actually asked around, you'd get answers. Now as I was saying... their names are Jun Minji, Yoo HeeYoung, Cho SunJung, and Kim...I-eesh-ah. Aisha. There, got it. Their group name is called Jewelz."

Kai's heart thudded against his rib cage. Aisha made it into the girl group. And she was the newest trainee. She must've been insanely good in order to be put in a girl group so quickly. He didn't think anymore made it into a girl group that fast. HeeYoung and SunJung had been trainees for almost two years, sworn to secrecy about it. Minji had been a trainee for five years and was an amazing vocalist. Aisha must've known she was chosen. He made a mental note to text her about it later.

"That's an interesting group, I wonder what they're thinking with a masked mute girl and a half-black half-Korean girl in the group. Which one was the half-and-half?" D.O asked.

"Half and half is SunJung, and despite her being half and half she's incredibly talented." Kris said. The boys became momentarily distracted by the food brought out. They dug in and broke off into smaller conversations. When Kai was finished he sent a text to Aisha.

To: Aisha

Msg: omo!!! I just heard the news, you're in the girl group! *\(^o^)/*

The reply was almost instant.

From: Aisha

Msg: I am??? Oooommmmmooooooo!!!!! I didn't know, they were going to tell us tomorrow! I'm so EXCITED!!! :D :D :D wait, who is also in the group?

He texted back quickly.

To: Aisha

Msg: I can't tell you, you probably won't know them anyway :P but I couldn't keep the fact that you're now in a group a secret, that wouldn't be very nice of me...

From: Aisha

Msg: Who else knows?

To: Aisha

Msg: A lot of the trainees found out today while you and the other girls were practicing. A bunch left. But so far only we know thanks to nosey Kris :P
