"What kind of people were mom and dad?" Himchan asked as he walked beside Eun Ah.

The two of them were home alone and bored so they had decided to take a walk around the area for a breath of fresh air.

Eun Ah pulled her sweater close to her body and looked at her feet. She wouldn't say that her relationship with Himchan had changed that drastically, but instead of bickering all the time (which they still did at their leisure), they found themselves having more moments together.

It felt a lot easier to talk to him. It was as if the knowledge of them being related brought down the walls that they had up, allowing them to be more comfortable around each other.  When they were around each other, they didn't need to have their guard up and be defensive. They could just be themselves in the rawest form.

So after all the mean insults thrown back and forth, they could talk about their families and just spend time with each other without feeling awkward.

"They were the best kind. They always put their family first but they tried to live happily. Never in my childhood had I ever suspected something like this over their heads. They were always smiling and they filled the house with love, they never seemed stressed or sad. I guess they just wanted to live life to the fullest. Dad is exactly like you."

Himchan's lips quirked to a small smile, that was another thing that she noticed, he smiled a lot more recently.

And not his snarky, mocking, -eating grins. He smiled genuine, albeit small, sincere smiles.

"He was righteous, strong willed, protective but very caring. He was quick witted and sharp tongued but he always knew how to make me and mom laugh. He was always quick on his feet, he was the kind of person you'd compare to superman. He taught me how to be strong and stand up for myself, just like you did. He'd protect the things he cared about with his life…and I guess he did."

"What about mom?"

Eun Ah snorted and shoved her hands in her pockets, "She's the both of us combined. She had the foulest mouth you could ever imagine. If you crossed her, all hell would break loose and heads would roll. But for someone who seemed so tough and brass, she was always sweet and loving. Mom was a giant teddy bear, especially around dad."

"So they were in love?" Eun Ah nodded and thought of all the times she'd see her parents kissing when they thought she wasn't looking.

"That's good."

"I guess I didn't know a lot about our parents than I thought I did, but one thing I know for sure is that they loved each other. They were madly in love and they made sure everyone around them felt that same love."

"I wish I could've been there to feel it." His voice was no longer filled with bitterness but rather childlike curiosity for the things in his life that he missed.

"Me too."

There was a pause of peaceful silence before the old Himchan made a reappearance.

"It's unfortunate that my sister-sister is a pig. It's going to be a tough life for me, living without consuming pork in respect to my swine sister and it will be a burden, but I will never abandon her to a life in the slaughter mill. I could not live with the guilt."

Eun Ah growled and started smacking him on the head, "One moment, can't you let us have one nice moment before opening your oversized trap?"

"It's okay sister-sister, I will stay by your side as you go down the hard path of life as a pig. It will not be easy but I have faith that you will adapt with the help of your pig friends, sister dearest." He spoke in a soft, soothing tone that just made her angrier.

"Is that so brother-brother? Well, what an odd family we are, a pig sister and a mutt for a brother."

Himchan glared at her before head butting her as hard as he could, "I don't know how you married before me. Yongguk must have a few screws loose."

"No one has more screws loose than you. You're head must be harder to fix than Ikea furniture."

"Wooooowww, good one, sister-sister. You sure got me." He said sarcastically with a slow clap.

Eun Ah sneered and rolled her eyes, "You're just jealous because you know that there is no girl brain-dead enough to every date you."

"Please, I'm fending girls off one by one. Everyone wants a piece of me."

Eun Ah snorted, "Yeah, a piece of you to throw away."

"Well at least my kids won't be half human, half pig."

Eun Ah stomped her foot childishly, "I'm telling Yongguk!"

"Ooooh, I'm so scared, I'm trembling in my $200 boots."

Eun Ah groaned as she tried to think of something to spit back before her head snapped up.

"Wait a minute, didn't you once say that you'd rather shoot yourself in the crotch than be related to me?"

Himchan's eyes widened a fraction before he stormed off, a few steps in front of her.

Eun Ah laughed obnoxiously before running to catch up to him, "Don't worry, I know where they keep the guns, I'll help you!"

-----

Eun Ah smiled when she saw Daehyun and Yongmi talking under the tree. The day had passed lazily and everyone ended up relaxing in the backyard with music playing softly in the background as the sun started to set.

Slowly the air started to get chilly before Junhong and Jongup decided to go to their rooms to play videogames.

Then Yongjae left to do some reading.

And then Himchan started being a diva about being around Eun Ah and Yongguk and left as well.

Leaving her and Yongguk on the patio, sitting on lawn chairs in blankets, talking softly, barely above a whisper for just the two of them to hear.

While Yongmi and Daehyun walked around the perimeter of the yard together.

Her legs were propped up on Yongguk's lap whose back was facing Yongmi while Eun Ah's chair was across from his, in direct line of the tree that the young pair were under.

She never knew what was going on with the two of them, but every time she saw them together she couldn't help but smile.

They were really sweet together and it was no secret that Daehyun held affections for the younger girl and seeing their small, shy interactions reminded her of their young innocence.

Her eyes lingered on them as she watched Daehyun brush Yongmi's hair out of her eyes.  His fingers slowly slid down her jaw and suddenly he was tilting her chin up and leaning forward with his eyes fluttering close, while she pushed up on her toes to get closer to him.

Eun Ah's eyes widened and her jaw dropped when she saw Daehyun kiss Yongmi. She let out  a huge gasp that caught Yongguk's attention.

"What's wrong?"

Eun Ah was in so much shock that she didn't have time to reply or tear her eyes away from the scene as Daehyun's arms wrapped around her waist and Yongmi's hand travelled through his hair as their kiss started getting heated.

Yongguk raised his brow and turned his head to follow her eye line, snapping Eun Ah out of her daze. When she saw him turning towards the couple, she panicked and grabbed his face, forcing him to face her.

He blinked in surprise but before he had a chance to ask her what she was doing, she leaned forward and planted her lips on his.

His eyes immediately slipped shut, but Eun Ah's stayed open as she watched Daehyun and Yongmi, pull apart.

She let out a little sigh and was about to pull away when Yongguk yanked her into his lap, off her
