"YOU DID WHAT," Dara squalled at me, "CHAE, YOU HAVE WASTED YOUR LIFE'S DREAM BECAUSE OF ONE ARGUMENT-"

"Stop," I inturrupted. I think I had enough scolding for a day."It wasn't after one argument, Dara, I thought about it for a long time. I just did what I think will lead me to a better future, and if you don't want to support me, then that's your problem."

"But why didn't you tell us?" She gestured to Minzy,Bom,and herself.

"Some things aren't meant to be told until it's done"

Nobody responded to my reply. I think they now understand that I am not kidding, but determined to achieve my dream. "I did this for the greater good," I whispered so quitely that only I can hear. Truth is, I am not that sure this will be great for my future, I am actually trying to convince myself.

                              AFTER 2 WEEKS OF CHAE LEAVING JYP

MINZY'S POV

I am alone in the practice room, dancing my off. The noonas already went home, to comfort Chae."Hi," I heard a gentle voice from behind.

I knew that voice, memorized it by heart."Hi Daesung"

He smiled his angel smile,"Whatever happened to oppa?"

"Sorry, oppa, just having a bad day. I'm super tired. and Chae...nevermind" I look at the ground

"What about chae?"He lifts my chin.

"Well, you can't tell anyone about this." Seeing that he nodded, I continued,"Chae,well,left JYP.She said it was to 'achieve her dreams' but I'm not sure oppa."

"Well, I guess that means I have good news then." He whispered something into my ear. I could feel the coneres of my lips lift and my eyes brighten.

"Seriously?You aren't kidding?" He nodded and I hugged him."Thank you, Dae," I whispered in his ear, and I swear I saw him blush.

I practically ran into Dara's apartment."Guys," I shrieked," good news alert! Good news alert!"

Bom was the first to run up, followed by Dara, then Chae."Woah Minji, calm down," replied Bom, still munching on her buttered corn."What is it?"

"Well," I look chae right in the eye with confidence,"YG has an open spot for a new trainee!"

DARA'S POV

"OMIGOD. OMIGOD. OMIGOD," I heard Bom screaming next to me, it was the only thing I could hear over my 'YASSSSSSSSSSSS'.

Chae didn't really respond. She actually looked like she was...frowning? Shouldn't she be happy? I whispered into her ear while we were all at ther dinner table,"Is something wrong?" She motioned to her phone, meaning she would text me.

ChaeMeBaby:

Noona,I'm not sure if I am happy, or sad. I actually feel pretty guilty.

Ssantoki:

Why would you feel guilty, Chae?Is it saomething that happened in JYP?

ChaeMeBaby

Actually,Yes. I feel like I'm betraying JYP, you know who he is right?

Ssantoki:

Isn't he your uncle or something?

ChaeMeBaby:

Wow, noona. Thanks for remembering after all those years.

I turn to Chae after reading her reply and smiled.Of course I remember, we have been friends ever since 7th grade! Our traits since then are the exact same, Minzy with the wise mind and smooth words, Bom with the thick head but loving personality, Chae with her ability to change from being honey sweet to a feirce kitty in a snap, and I, Sandara Park, the sweetheart and ability to cheer anyone up. That's how things were. And sometimes I wish we could go back, not care about becoming an idol or not. It was easier. It was....better that way.
