So you guys seem to be confused about the story. Please note that this isnt a story update.I'll start where it gets really confusing: Where CL is.

CL is somewhere unknown, and in chapter 23 it explains that she is in a fancy palace. The orb in a tank is Death, the thing that was controlling Chaerin, and they need to find a new body for it because CHaerin doesn't want the sprit of death in her. But once he get a new body she'll need to follow him still.

CL went to an underground place (that is important and is going to be a key setting in the story) when she saw something in the mirror, and she woke up in the UP.

Meanwhile BB is in Japan and everyone is forgetting she existed (thus the last sentence in Chapter 18 'Who Are You?') but Jiyong still somehow remembers her. That's why Seungri and everyone was like "Who is Chaerin?".
In Japan, Ji meets Kiko, a person he mentioned earlier in the story as his "ex-girlfriend", but it seems these two were more than just lovers.What they did together? They killed people that scammed kiko (WHEN AND WHAT SHE WAS SCAMMED FOR IS UNKNOWN, THERE IS A REASON SHE KILLS PEOPLE) but Ji got scared and didn't want to kill people anymore and she got mad so she threw a painting with a red grape in a man's right eye to Ji, which scraped his back.

Let me note that when one person is gone in your life, it can change drastically.

PS I am writing this story three times: CL in the palace with Death, BB at Japan, and BARAZY back at Korea. These are all happening at the same time unless above the POV it says otherwise:)

PSS In this world where Chaerin is gone, he and Sohee are not dating but she will appea in the story later on.
