Cold Hearted
Description
Byun Baekhyun had no one to turn to. His life was a mess. He had been abandoned by his parents, fell in love with a girl, only to have her dad hate his guts, and he was kicked out of their house, too. Now he had run away, from everyone he had ever known, to faraway from any human life.
Nicole Jung has a questionable past, leading her to have no love left in her heart. She finds herself stuck in freezing weather when with her cousin/unnie, Kwon Yuri. Everything there beyond the house was an isolated pit of winter. She has nothing to do but perfect her skating skills on a frozen lake nearby. One day, her innocent little task is turned upside down when she finds Byun Baekhyun.
Baekhyun couldn't believe she's taken the place of his former love, Hyo Min.
Nicole couldn't believe this one guy could change her heart.
Beliefs mean nothing when it comes to love.
Hey! So I just needed to say one thing. I'm not really an EXOtic. More like an EXO K fan. I love EXO, though, even if all the members' names are not remembered in my brain. I still love all their songs, soooo yeah......

Foreword
I had everything in the world right at that moment. As if only to escape from reality, we held hands for several seconds. She looked at me only to show such a perfect smile. The only perfect smile I could ever want. I felt movement in my hands, crossing through my fingers. I watched as she intertwined our hands together as if they must stay that way forever. Yes. They must stay together forever.
But I watched her smile fade and I felt her hands unlink with mine. I looked into her eyes with a confused but sad expression, and I knew immediately something was wrong. "I, I can't do this, oppa," she stuttered.
"Why? Can't you come with me?" I pleaded, but I knew her silence and avoiding eye contact was a way of telling me that she couldn't. Her silence pounded my brain until it was dull. "Why not?"
"My father... He would disapprove-"
"So you don't want to disobey your father for coming with me? I'd never see you again, though. I'm never coming back, if you haven't noticed," I interrupted. She couldn't look back in my eyes, as if they were a painful reminder of how much she meant to me.
"I'm so sorry...." She began to trail off, but I leaned in and kissed her lips to stop her from straying too far.
"I could die without you, though, I love you too much." She smiled at the ground, slowly allowing her gaze to slide into place and meet mine.
"No, you won't, Baekhyun. You are too smart to die. I believe in you; you can survive," she assured me. I allowed a grin on my face.
"BYUN BAEKHYUN! GET THE HELL AWAY FROM HYO MIN!" Her father screamed.
