"I love you, too," I told her with a smile. It was so true, and I was glad it was no longer a secret to her. I could repeat it a million times, but I would miss out on actually talking to Nicole if I did. "So do you want to be my girlfriend?" I asked awkwardly. She nodded.

"I'd love to."

Later that day, Yuri brought us back to her home, and I stayed in the same place with Nicole: our room. "I'm so excited for tomorrow. I can't wait to find out who the newest member of unnie's group is!"

"Why do you care so much about it?" I asked curiously.

"Because I know all the other members and I love them all. A new member would be really interesting," she explained.

"What if you don't like the new member?" I asked her. Nicole thought about this and looked back at me.

"I probably will," she said simply, nodding her head a little. Then I had an idea.

"Nicole, come here. I have a secret," I said. She smiled and eagerly came over to my bed.

"What?" she asked. I turned her head towards mine, leaning in to kiss her. I brushed my lips against hers. They were delicate and soft, so I lingered for a second or two.

"Sorry, you were just so tempting," I said, smiling. She looked into my eyes, flashing back her sparkly and dark ones.

"Do it again," she said, almost begging. I happily obeyed and kissed her again, but with more enthusiasm this time. We finished and she was blushing heavily. "Oppa, you're amazing. I'm glad you're mine."

The next day, Yuri came and got us to go see the new girl. Well, first there were some paparazzi and they did a few songs before Nicole and I got to see her. The girl on stage looked vaguely familiar, but I couldn't remember where I had seen her. When I finally saw her without the lights and glitter shining on her, I instantly knew her.

It was Hyo Min.

"Baekhyun? Is that you?" she asked. I was completely speechless, and I let go of Nicole's warm and inviting hand in the process. Hyo Min smiled and hugged me tightly. "I found you! I can't believe it's you! I missed you so much! I love you, Baekhyun-oppa!" she squealed. I pushed her away and she returned with a confused look. "What is it? I thought you loved me, too."

"H-Hyo Min, I...." I sputtered. She looked so sad, but I couldn't just hug her right in front of Nicole. "You look pretty," I said, trying to finish my sentence. She was wearing a mini-skirt with a blue, strapless crop top. Yuri matched her outfit; all the members did. Hyo Min smiled and looked down at her outfit.

"Thanks, Baekkie. I like it, too," Hyo Min replied. I flinched at the sound of my name used by her. I love Nicole now. Hyo Min doesn't matter.

"Hyo Min, why don't I go introduce you to the rest of the members?" Yuri said, pulling Hyo Min away. My old love winked at me as she walked away. I watched her hips sway as she left.

"So, you know her?" Nicole asked, pointing to Hyo Min and coming to my side. I nodded slowly, still wide-eyed at the awful coincidence.

"That was Hyo Min...." I told her. She gasped.

"But, but you still love me right? You're not going back to her, right?" Nicole questioned in a desperate tone. I smiled at her.

"I love you too much to leave you, Nicole," I said sweetly, kissing her cheek to hopefully notify Hyo Min of us. Nicole and I were together, and that was that.

It must've looked strange to the other members to see me kissing their well-known dongsaeng. "Nicole-sshi, who's that?" a girl asked. Nicole almost instictively let go of me and hugged the girl.

"Kim Taeyeon! I missed you! He's my boyfriend, Byun Baekhyun," she answered. Nicole seemed to be the group's little sister. Taeyeon looked me up and down and smiled.

"Treat her well. She's a handful," the girl remarked. I gave her a light smile before she went back to her dongsaeng. "Yah, Yong-Joo, I thought you liked Kibum!"

"Unnie...." Nicole blushed with embarrassment and released the girl, but I took her hand.

"Who's Kibum?" I asked, trying to hide my scared tone from her ears.

"He's a SHINee member.... And I don't actually like him, pabo unnie!" Nicole said playfully. I didn't want to lose Nicole. Not after I finally had her as mine. 

I pulled her close and hugged her. "Well, we know Kibum is out of the picture, right?" I asked sweetly, looking into her gleaming eyes. She nodded and smiled, pecking my cheek with a kiss. I let her go, but I was assaulted with another hug right away.

"Oppa, I'm so glad you're here," Hyo Min whispered in my ear. Now was not the right time to tell her that I loved another. Instead, I just hugged her back.

"Hi, Minnie. I haven't seen you in a while. But...."

"But what?"

"But he's with me. Sorry, honey. You're new here, so I let it slide," A girl said as she pulled me away. Nicole was nowhere to be found, and Hyo Min looked at me with confusion and embarrassment, which had vanished when she smiled shyly and bowed.

"Yes, of course. I'm so sorry, unnie," she apologized, walking away with the click of her heels. Great. Now both of them hate me.

"Who are you and why did you do that?" I asked curiously. She took her hand away and frowned.

"Jessica Jung. And I was saving your . Go find Nicole," she ordered. I nodded and obeyed.

Nicole, unfortunately, was lost. SNSD was outside of the auditorium, posing for paparazzi and answering questions. I went around the whole building looking for her, calling her name like she was a dog. "I am such an idiot," I mumbled under my breath.

I finally went to the auditorium. Sure enough, there was Nicole sitting on the edge of the stage with her head down. "Nicole! I found you!" I greeted her with delight once I ran down to her on the stage. Her eyes were puffy and red, wet with tears. "Aww, come here," I said, holding my arms out in front of her. The stage was up too high for me to exactly hug her without feeling incredibly awkward, so she jumped down into my arms. I held her, trying to calm her tense and shuddering body.

"Baekkie, why would you do that to me?"

"I know. I didn't do that. She hugged me, and I promise it won't happen again," I told her. I felt awful to have done that to her; I shouldn't have hugged Hyo Min back, and I was an idiot. I let go and started walking up the stairs, holding her warm hand while I did so.

I was alarmed by a yell outside the door, and even though it was muffled, I still heard Jessica's voice saying my name.

She the door open and slammed it behind her, pushing herself into me. Her brown eyes were gleaming in the lights of the auditorium, along with the flashes of cameras to add the twinkle. She was very pretty, but Nicole was mine and was going to stay there. "What are you-"

"Yes, apparently I am your girlfriend now...." Jessica said, gritting her teeth. My eyes grew wide and I pushed her away. "Ow! Jeez, that was painful! The least you could do is be nice to me after I saved you from Hyo Min!" she yelled, reducing it to an angry whisper at the end while she held her chest.

"Sorry! Nicole is right here!" I shouted. "I can't believe you! Nicole, can you believe her?! She wants me to be her boyfriend!"

"But Baekkie, we know that you and I are dating. And the media will have a fit if you don't date Jessica," she advised quietly. I nodded grimly.

"Fine. If I don't have to stay with Hyo Min anymore, I'll go out with you in public. But once we are in private, we don't know each other. Got it?"

"Yes. If we don't do this, I will be destroyed as an idol. And you will be destroyed as a person. So when we're not in public, we don't associate."

I was dating a girl I barely knew. And my real girlfriend was Nicole. I have had such a rough time.
