I got a call from Chanyeol that afternoon. "Hey, babe," he greeted me.

"Hi," I said lazily. I was in the living room sitting next to Baekhyun. I couldn't believe how I had acted last night. I just wanted it to go away. "We need to talk."

"I'm sorry about last night," he said. I sighed, about to burst out into tears.

"I'm really... Can't you just tell everyone we broke up?" I pleaded. Baekhyun put his arm around me.

"Ummm, I don't think I can... They wouldn't believe me," he said.

"I can't do this anymore..." I whimpered. "I really can't. Please make it stop."

"Nicole, I'm so sorry," he said. "But I really need to tell you something." I took a deep breath and waited for his answer. "I think I love you."

"What?! No, you don't! You're out of your mind!" I yelled, breaking down. I liked Chanyeol, he was a great person, and he made me feel better. But I don't think I loved him. Of course, he was also the only guy to make me feel wanted.

"No. I know I love you. Do you... Do you... love me?" his stutter told me how much it would hurt if I said no.

"Chanyeol-ah.... I-"

"I should've known. I'm sorry I bothered you."

"Chanyeol, you're too good for me. Don't hurt yourself over me. You're such an amazing guy, and why would you waste your love on me?" I said.

"Because you're the best girl I've ever met. I love you, and I promise if I could ever see you again, I'd make you feel so much better than Baekhyun could make you feel," he told me with a shaking voice. I wasn't sure which boy was better.

Baekhyun was so good at forgiveness and making me feel better, but I knew how impulsive he was and he couldn't control himself. Chanyeol was sweet, attractive, and funny, but...I couldn't find anything wrong with him. Oh no. I left the living room and went upstairs to make sure Baekhyun wouldn't hear my answer. "Please answer me, Nicole."

"I d-don't know, Chanyeol," I replied. He sighed sadly.

"Nicole, has Baekhyun ever yelled at you?" Chanyeol asked.

"Yes, but-"

"Have I ever yelled at you?" he asked. I bit my lip.

"No, but that's not-"

"Don't you like me? I know I'm your friend," he pointed out.

"I like you. I don't know if I love you, though," I replied.

"Then give me a chance. I swear I'll be worth it," he begged.

"I am not going back over there today. Do you want to try.... dinner tomorrow?" I asked. I heard Baekhyun yell something downstairs. I bit my lip so hard that I had the taste of blood burst on my tongue.

"I'd love to. I'll see you then," he answered happily as the phone broke off the tone. I sighed in frustration. If I actually do start to like Chanyeol, what am I going to do?! I went downstairs and faced an agitated Baekhyun with his fingers running through his hair.

"Babe, I have to tell you something. Jessica.... loves me," he told me, not giving me a chance to reply. I threw my arms around, turning around and silently arguing with myself. WHY?! I quickly turned back and crossed my arms.

"Why the hell were you so nice to her?!" I yelled at him. He hung his mouth open.

"What are you talking about? Nicole, I just- what the heck?! No!" he yelled back. Okay, maybe that was completely random, but I wanted an explanation.

"Okay, fine. But how can she like you? You're my boyfriend!" I countered. He smiled at me mischievously.

"I don't know, Nicole. Probably for the same reason that you love me, perhaps?" he replied. I blushed a little. "Ah, see? You know why she might love me. Because I'm perfect."

"Let's go with that," I answered with a smile.
