"You go back to the room without me."

"Why?"

He simply smiled at her reassuringly before turning to the hostess and murmuring something softly. The woman's eyes widened before she giggled loudly and nodded. Dara, despite feeling quite jealous, shook her head in confusion, and went to her room to wash up.

Kris was gone for most of the afternoon, and when he returned, Dara noticed him quickly hiding something behind his back, before smiling brightly at her.

"It's time for dinner!"

Dara nodded, and headed downstairs with him.

That night's dinner was Braised Lamb Shanks, and a bottle of 2007 Greenok Creek Shiraz. The two ate in silence; favorably, the Songs were mysteriously murdered 'not feeling well enough' to come down and eat.

As their meal came to an end, Kris smiled at her.

"Let's go on a drive."

“Drive?"

"After your bath, wear clothes to go out."

"Where are we go-?"

"Oh, it can just be any sort of clothes," Kris shrugged. "Just something comfortable, I guess."

Dara gave him a strange look as she left for her bath, but, later as she got dressed, she couldn't help but to check her reflection a few times and spray some perfume before she went to meet up with her husband.

As before, Kris took a box out of the trunk of his car, and the two entered an empty chapel. Dara looked around in confusion. It was dark inside the holy structure, until Kris brought his lighter, and began to light the candles in the room. Soon, the room was aglow with a soft yellow light. Kris then turned to her, taking a deep breath.

"Here…" he handed her the box. "Change into this."

“Huh?”

Dara felt a little put-off. She knew he said to dress in anything, but she had chosen something rather casual… she didn't think Kris would be taking her to a church.

Kris already turned away and began to undress. Dara swiftly turned around, trying not to remember what had happened that night, before she opened the box. She blinked as she saw the thin, white, floating material. But then she took it out of the box, and her eyes widened.

When Kris turned around again, he held his breath. There stood his wife, Wu Dara, in a pure white wedding dress, a gauzy veil draped over her shimmering, long blonde mane, surrounded by the glow of the candles.

"Where did you get this?" Dara asked curiously, looking down at the lovely material. Kris's tongue felt strangely heavy in his mouth, and he had to swallow a few times before he was able to answer.

"The… The lady at the hotel told me about a bridal dress rental store downtown," he muttered, trying to not look at her directly. "I… I went and got it this afternoon."

"So… uhh… Kris… what are you doing?" she swallowed when she saw that he was dressed in a white tuxedo. He walked up to her, and gently taking her arm, guided her up to the altar.

"I… I want us to…"

Dara stared at him as he struggled to admit his true intentions. He finally released a breath.

"I want us to restate our vows."

Her eyes could not have popped out wider.

"Pardon?!"

"…I didn't really write my vows."

Dara gulped. She should have known that, deep down, but for some reason, she couldn't help but to feel somewhat disappointed. She had lost countless nights of sleep over her vows, but hearing that from Kris just conf
