I’ve never thought that things would turn out this way, both Seung Ri and Seunghyun must be going through a rough time now. I don’t know how to quench pain like that, I haven’t dealt with anything like this before but I’m sure I am a lot more concerned about Seunghyun…

As he was talking to his soon to be dad, he couldn’t help but to take glances over Seunghyun and Seung Ri’s talk. He could tell that their no longer talking about the engagement and the both of them seems to be smiling a lot compared to the tension earlier. “They must’ve sorted things out by now” he whispered nonchalantly “Who sorted things out?” Seunghyun’s dad questioned.

“Oh… no uncle… it was… never mind that” he felt ridiculous about it, “You said that the wedding will be held at?” he averted the topic, “Ah yes… that” they continue to talk and once again, Jiyong felt the thrill and excitement when he heard the promises his uncle gave out. “I have faith in both of them… Seunghyun and Seung Ri can get through this” he willed himself to take away the worries.

Meanwhile

“I’m just curious into asking this so… if you wouldn’t mind” Hyun nodded along with a smile. “Do also love Jiyong?” the word itself struck him. He felt his cheeks burn and his gaze turned away, “Oh my gosh… this is too rich. You’re acting like a school girl right in front of me… I need to take a video of this!” he was about to pull out his phone but Hyun stopped him “Ya! Don’t you dare pick on me tonight!” he fended him.

“Well I can’t help it if you’re that adorable when I see you like that… it’s just that you don’t show such soft side whenever we discuss our love lives, I’m just taken by the scene you made” he tittered and Hyun pouted. “So what of it? I just… felt embarrassed at being asked so bluntly like that” he didn’t want to make eye contact with Ri.

Ri smiled at him “Take good care of yourself and Jiyong… I just want the both of you happy right now. So don’t blow it alright?” he scolded at the last part but quickly giggled right after. “Sure thing… this is different from before. I’m really hooked up with what I feel for Jiyong and most of all, I’m happy that Jiyong cares for me the same way I care for him. I always feel his love for me so I won’t put that in vane”

As Seung Ri listened, he felt the emotions Seunghyun had mustered. He could tell quite well that he was truly drawn to Jiyong “He makes me smile and laugh without effort and he’s the source of my strength right now. I wouldn’t let something like this pass by right?” Ri nodded, “Of course you shouldn’t. You’d be a total idiot if you’d let this go by”

After a few minutes, Ri’s phone rang. Hyun kept a weather eye over Jiyong while Ri was busy with the call. Luckily Ji noticed and waved at him when their gaze met. “Um… Hyun, sorry for this but, I gotta go right now. It’s just business but you know that I don’t like flaws” Hyun turned and nodded, “Sure I understand. Anyways, you came and that’s all that matters right? I’ll see you soon then” he bid off.

“Sorry again, I’ll make up for this next time” he teed off and sent his regard to both Jiyong and Hyun’s parents as well as Ji and the rest. “I’m quite fortunate that Seung Ri isn’t greedy with relationships… if he were to be one, I would’ve been in deep and also to the fact that he told me straight on that he loves Jiyong is something that would’ve been catastrophic” a few moments, Jiyong came back “Was something wrong? Ri left in such a hurry”

Seunghyun smiled at him and pulled him in. He wrapped his arms around him and rested his chin on Ji’s shoulder, he hummed but didn’t answer yet. “Um… Hyunnie… there are other people here aside from our family” he looked around trying to check if someone had paid heed. “It’s our night Kwon Jiyong, we’re supposed to be the centre of attraction and what better way to attract the attention is to show how comfy we are with each other… you are proud to be my fiancé right?” he pulled out and worryingly asked.

Ji gave a thought “Perhaps, I’m still reconsidering whether I’d really get hitched with you since I know you’re still childish and random at time” Hyun pouted, “You wouldn’t dare think twice about our wedding” Ji grinned, “Want me to think of backing out?” Hyun’s eyes widened “I’m not letting you go to Seung Ri that easily… you said you’d be with me and I’m not going to let that promise be neglected at all cost” he looked so stern and possessive. Something Jiyong felt so wonderful of whenever he acts like that.

He quickly gave Hyun a sweet kiss in the lips, “I’m really enjoying this habit on watching you go all possessive over me…” he pinched Hyun’s nose, “I feel so assured that I’m the only one you want to be with…” Seunghyun couldn’t help but to smile at the way Jiyong looked at him with those eyes. “It’s because you already promised me that we’d never part from each other right? The promise we made a week ago”

Both of them were at Jiyong’s place and were lounging at the couch. “Seunghyun… can you pass me some more chips” he asked out, “You can grab it on your own, I’m busy watching this part…” he didn’t let his gaze waver that the screen. “You’re such a fanatic huh?” Hyun didn’t bother answering.

“You know what, whenever we watch a movie you pick out we never get along with passing stuff or so… is it that hard to take your attention away from the movie and onto me? I mean, we could actually pause this!” he didn’t gave another warning and he quickly paused the show. “W-What was that for? It was nearly the best part!” he tried to grab the remote but Ji took it away.

“I feel neglected and unwanted… I think we should stop with this movie night and call it a night… besides you’ve watched this piece of crap for more than a 100 times even before we watched it together” Ji stood up “Hey, this isn’t crap it’s a classic and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever watched and~” he stopped the moment Ji looked at him with a dark gaze.

“So you’re frankly telling me right now that this movie is worth watching rather than paying attention to your so called boyfriend huh? I must be second best or something for you to set me aside from something you’ve been hooked up about. Well I don’t blame you, you don’t know what I’m feeling and I’m totally fine with it” he spoke in a calm way but his words were piercing through Seunghyun.

“Turn off the TV once you’re done and don’t forget to lock the door…” Ji was about to leave but Seunghyun pulled his hand and stopped him from walking away, “What now? You need something to drink while I’m up?” when Ji turned to look at Seunghyun, he saw a regretful expression. “I’m sorry… I didn’t knew you felt like that when we watch a movie. It’s just that I get so caught up with it that I don’t… pay attention at you…” he admitted his wrong. Truly, Ji couldn’t let himself continue to get mad at someone who’s apologizing sincerely, “I guess I have my wrong at this too… I shouldn’t be overly dramatic whenever you lose your attention to me. It’s just that I always want you to set your eyes on me that I crave to be given attention”

“Well… I also don’t want you to leave. Whenever you leave me without saying I’ll see you tomorrow or I’ll catch ya later, I feel that you’re mad at me and that you’d forever turn your back on me” Ji shot out a breath and pulled Seunghyun into a hug. “I’m frank when I’m mad and when I don’t say those words that you want, it means I don’t want to say my long or short farewells yet… it means I still plan on being with you”

Hyun tightened his embrace, “Well… each time that I just watch and not talk or play around with you at Movie night is… because, I’m scared…” Ji was a bit taken by that statement, “Scared of what?” he couldn’t help but to ask “I’m scared that if I’d touch you, I’d burn up and need you… when I talk to you, I feel that I want to strike out my mouth to meet with yours… I’m so worked up about those thoughts that I might lose control of myself and we’d end up having … you know that I respect you decision on doing it on our honeymoon”

Jiyong chuckled at that, “What’s so funny…? I’ve been honest with you and you act like that?” he felt mocked but Ji waved his hand, telling him that it’s nothing like that. “S-Sorry… but it’s not like that I’m teasing you or anything but… when I think about it. You’re as erted as any other guy who takes a girl on a movie at their place”

Hyun blushed immediately, “I’m not a !” he yelled out, “Yeah, and what you thought about was nothing close in being a ert… please, let’s be honest here Seunghyun… even I think about it whenever the moment’s too much for me” Hyun crossed his arms “You’re making a huge misunderstanding here… I’m a well-educated and disciplined man and~ wait… what did you just said?” he just came to understand Ji’s last remark.

“Can I stop myself from thinking that my boyfriend is one hot guy?” he smiled in a y way, “Besides, it’s natural… and once we’re married, we’ll be able to experience it without hindrance” Hyun’s grin shinned brightly, “You are one to talk with this accusations but still, I’ll let it pass under one condition” Ji raised a brow, “What that may be?”

“Promise me hereon fort that you and I will be together… till our hearts no longer beat” Ji resisted a laugh at the way he’s being cheesy, “To think that our wedding isn’t until next month… and you already started to give out our vows” Hyun took both Ji’s hands and held on them nice and tightly while he looked him straight in the eyes.

“This vow is something for the two of us to cherish and it’s nothing near the vows we’ll be doing at the wedding. This is to reassure that you’re not leaving me… that you’d stay with me and not leave me alone in misery. You know quite well how valuable you’ve been to me…” Ji would never thought that he’d mean in such way to someone like Seunghyun.

“You know, if you keep talking like I’m going to leave you, I’ll end up really leaving you… so stop thinking that I’d leave someone as precious as you, because someone like you doesn’t come in a day” it made Hyun smile, “You know… I believed at the words, We hold a person’s happiness in our very own hands, I feel that those words exist because… Seunghyun, you hold my happiness in your hands. Why on earth would I leave you?”

“So it’s a promise ei? I mean… you also hold my happiness in the palm of your hands. Might as well be stuck with each other till the end”

“I can’t believe you’ve let yourself be so taken in by that promise but still why on earth will I leave you, if I already made it clear about the purpose I want to stay with you and never the less, let me remind you that I won’t leave you because I have someone else or I’m not willing to support you and stuff… what I meant at that time is… I’m always by your side even if I’m not physically there” he explained.

“Yeah… I guess so… but still physically being there is something I want most. I want my Ji to be there by my side, physically, mentally and spiritually” Ji sighed, “You’re no good in making statements lately… I think your brain is damaged, we should go to a doctor to get you fixed” he joked and Hyun only frowned but didn’t bother to argue.

“I’m just happy that we’ll only wait for a few more days before we’re married. That’s all and that’s the only thing I’m anticipated on after this month” Hyun pulled Ji back into an embrace and rubbed Ji’s back. “Either you’re excited with the wedding or the part we do after the wedding…” Hyun’s eyes narrowed, “You’re the ert to be precise. You’re the one who’s always thinking about these stuff” he shot out.

“Takes one to know one I presume” Ji kid, “You know in yourself how important you are to me… doing something as intimate as that… well, I think I’d end up being escorted to heaven” Ji rolled his eyes, “Too overacting” he sarcastically spoke.

After everyone saw the two up on the stage when they were introduced to the friends and family of both sides, Seunghyun and Jiyong left together. Their parents were a bit reluctant to let them leave so quickly after being announced but they figured it was fine since they were having plans of their own. Well actually, it was quite unexpected that Jiyong would invite Seunghyun for a drive around town at 10:34 in the evening.

“Tell me again why you’re in such a mood for this ride?” Hyun asked knowingly at the answer. “Do I have to repeat myself every 10 minutes?” he narrowed his eyes on the cheerful guy who’s driving. “Well if it’s fine with you, I’m down with it. I like hearing the whole reason for this…” he teasingly said but Ji huffed a laugh before placing his hand on Hyun’s at the clutch “Fine then but this is the last for this night…” he reminded and Hyun smiled widely.

“I just want a remarkable night after our official engagement. I want my boyfriend/fiancé to show me a wonderful drive around town before we turn in for the night. I want my boyfriend to be all mushy and sentimental with me just this night…” he spoke in a tenderly way. It made Seunghyun feel perfect. That Jiyong was fully content on being with him and just being able to make wonderful memories with each other. “Yeah… just the two of us… Jiyong and I… that’s the best thing for the both of us”

“Oh… the tower isn’t all that wonderful if it’s not Christmas season…” Ji turned to his side of the car “They still have lights” Hyun informed “It’s not as glamorous as it was a few months ago” he disappointingly spoke. “You do have a point there… well anyways, maybe we could go to Paris for our honeymoon… I mean, the Eiffel tower is there and it’s the origin of this one” Ji quickly turned to face Seunghyun “Really?” excitement was obvious at the tone of his voice.

“Of course, I don’t tend on making you anticipate for someone I can give. Besides, I want you to be happy… that’s all” he sounded so sincere with his promise, “I can’t believe that this is the Seunghyun I met a few months ago… you’ve changed so greatly after that day you first pissed me off” he sounded like he was teasing but Hyun only giggled at the recollection.

“You know, I never did expect myself to even think that we’d last up until now. You were such a that time and to think that you’d actually kick me? I even thought that if I’d see you again, I’d return a favour…” Ji hummed in acknowledgement at Hyun’s first impression, “Do you still have the urge to do something like that to me?” Ji asked.

“I have the opposite thought if you’re willing to know…” he coyly said, “We can never have a decent talk if we have running inside that head of yours” he leaned down and rested his head as Hyun drove down to a parking space by the tower.

“You really like it here huh?” Hyun suddenly asked out of the blue after turning off the engine. “I have a dream that one day I’ll be here with the person I love the most” it made Hyun’s heart rush, “Haven’t you fulfilled it yet?” obviously stating that they were the ones in Ji’s dream, “Let me think about that for a few millennium or so… I think I need to double check at the circumstances” he teased and Hyun chuckled.

“Well you made a portion of it come true… I do… love you” hearing the word love made Seunghyun freeze up and his heart nearly stopped then dropped down. “I’m really thankful that you’re the one who became my first boyfriend… and the first person I’ve fallen in love with. Frankly I didn’t fall in love with you with just that pretty face of yours…” he trailed off and they both looked at each other.

It was certain that Seunghyun was shocked at hearing Jiyong say that he loves him but he was sure it was real at seeing Jiyong’s eyes sparkle as he their gazes intertwine “I fell in love with you because you were genuine with the way you show value over me. That you take good care of me although you were forced to do so after having the obligation on marrying me and~” Hyun hushed him.

“True that it was an obligation before that but know this clearly that I did those things because I somehow had an unacknowledged attraction to you. I thought of the same thing before, that I don’t have feelings for you and I’m only doing this to make us both close so the marriage wouldn’t be a curse but… as time flew by I realize that it was also…” somehow seeing Jiyong anticipate for the next words made him feel horrible.

“Something special… you now hold a special part in my life that I wouldn’t be able to brush off and I’m glad as well that it’s you who got that place” though the words were fine and acceptably alluring, Ji just couldn’t help but to feel that something was missing. Perhaps he expected that the word love would come out of Seunghyun’s mouth.

They stayed like that for a while, underneath the dark skies even without a starry night to make it perfect. Somehow it was tranquil enough to consider it as a remarkable one but still, it needed a special touch. “Maybe he’s not yet ready for that word… I could still give him time to accumulate enough feelings for him to say it out loud” yeah, he needed to be understanding.

Jiyong didn’t noticed that he feel asleep at an instance after feeling Seunghyun’s fingers creasing his cheek and feeling some light kisses on his head. He woke up at his bedroom and it was already bright and early. He looked around and Seunghyun wasn’t in sight. “I guess he just dropped me off” he thought and went out for the bathroom.

He paused for a moment after smelling something from the kitchen. When he got there, he smiled brightly at the meal presented but still there wasn’t any sign of Seunghyun. He walked closer and found a small note, he picked it up and tittered at the noticeable heart that was drawn at the bottom of the paper. “Have a wonderful meal and sorry if I couldn’t eat breakfast with you, dad told me I should start helping out with the hotel so I didn’t bother of waking you up. I’ll see you later”

“It’s a miracle that you’re starting to work now… I thought you’d end up as a bum who doesn’t want to work and just spend your father’s wealth… I stand corrected in that” he joked to himself. Even before Ji could start to have some of the coffee laid there, the doorbell rang. “Ugh… does he have to ring the darn thing?” he went to the front door.

“Dae, I think you know well enough what the passcode is and~” he paused the moment he saw the face. “I would be splendid if I’d knew but even if I did, I wouldn’t barge in here without word” the person showed a heart melting smile. “S-Seung Ri… w-what brings you here?” he didn’t know if whether he was glad or shocked about seeing him as early as that or he was just still ajar with the fact that Seunghyun might throw a fuss after the night.

“Don’t worry, I’m here to visit as a friend, as a cousin-to-be” he cleared out to reassure him, “Oh… no… it wasn’t anything like that…” obviously it was but he really need to conceal that fact a bit, “D-Do come inside” he invited and Ri took off his shoes and put on the slippers. “So what brings you here this early?” he asked out as they made their way towards the living room.

“I’ve been wanting to see you and we didn’t have that much time to talk at the party last night because I had an urgent matter to attend to” Ji nodded “Oh, would you like some coffee or some fruit juice?” he offered. “Some coffee would be fine” he teed off to the kitchen to fetch him something to drink.

He took some of the meals as well for them to have something to eat, “Here” he placed the tray at the coffee table “You seemed to have interests on western meals” Ri stated “Oh… no, actually, it was Seunghyun who made these so~” he stopped at the moment Hyun’s name came out “Oh… I see… does he stay here?” Ji knew it wasn’t wise to talk about the both of them but Ri sounds fine with it. Perhaps he’s over the fact that Hyun and him are really going for the marriage.

“Well… he does most at the week. Usually he sleeps over…” he felt shy about that “It’s quite natural that you guys were to get accustomed before being really hitched. In the states most still preferred living in and not really marrying each other off so they could learn if they could bear with each other once they wake up in the morning seeing the same face” he joked and Ji giggled.
“But there’s still that certainty that their end up getting married… honestly speaking, I think that living with someone you like is a way for you to understand each other until you’ve gone to the point of realizing that it’s truly love in each other’s eyes” he spoke with such compassion.

Seung Ri noticed that he was exposing himself too much, “Well, never the less you guys seem to be quite prepared for everything so I don’t think there’s much to reveal with each other before the big day comes” he sounded joyous then with a kind smile. “I heard from Seunghyun that you’ll be the best man at our wedding. Is that alright with you?” Ri raised a brow, “Whatever do you mean by that? Of course I’m fine with it. It’s kinda like my brother’s wedding so it’s totally fine”

At that very moment, Jiyong found out how pained he was to see that both Seunghyun and Seung Ri though they bear different amount of pains, clearly it was because of their love for him.

Honestly knowing Seung Ri his feelings for someone never dissipates especially to someone he would boldly say he loves. I fear that he might do something somehow but… I want to show my trust in him. I need to and I want to. I have faith in him that he wouldn’t do anything to ruin this marriage.

My chances are still high. I know things can have a turn over, Seunghyun. I know you read me clearly last night. I can’t let go of someone as important as Jiyong, he’ll be mine even little by little. I’m sorry but, I was the one meant for him and I don’t believe that it’s you that will make his life complete. It’s my destiny to belong with him and I’m going to fulfil that.

I don’t want this to happen to any of them, they don’t deserve to feel this things but… I could never choose to have them both. As stupid as it may seem, I can’t do anything about Seung Ri. I know it was selfish of me to not say anything from the beginning but, I really love Seunghyun… I’m sorry… I really am.

Sorry for the long wait there, I've had lots of things coming around me lately this week so I wasn't able to finish this and each time I wanted to finish this and post it. I would only end up having a writer's block >.< well right now I'm happy that I was able to post again. Also I've lost the sense of love a few days ago since the guy that I really really... love left and I wasn't able to tell him about my feelings. So I made a little reinventing again by watching some love movies and stuff only then I was back on my feet.

(Maybe after this story is finished, I will create a fanfic based on my NBSB life >.< hope you guys would stay for that day to come) :D
