Here we are… Jeju-do… the air smells fresher than the city and the view, whoohoo, they took a good location beside the shoreline, and it would be spectacular to watch the sunset here later on. Oh gosh I’m so thrill right now I want to get out of this room!

“Can you please hurry up there? I’m getting a lot anxious here with your slow motioned actions” he scolded at Dae who was placing their stuff in the drawers and the rack. “YAH! If you’re that excited to get out that much then get the hell out of the room and let yourself get lost in the process… it’s bad enough that you didn’t bother helping me arrange our things, but also telling me that I’m being a hindrance to you in getting out there?!” he really spoke back at him.

Ji just pouted and slouched in front of him, “Is that any way to treat a totally innocent guy like me?” he whined, “Innocent? Really Ji, you really need to stop taking meths or something… since when did someone like you became innocent?” he then threw him a towel in the face, “Get a bath first, you’re stinking up the air” he got up and went to the bathroom.

Though Ji knew he took a bath, he took a quick sniff on his underarms “YAH! I DON’T SMELL!” he retorted, “I don’t know if he’s excited to get out there or to see Seunghyun… hmm… maybe both, well… the look in his face was quite clear when I saw it earlier, he looked like his heart was captivated the moment he laid eyes on him. Perhaps Hyun isn’t that much of a dickhead as Ji thought he would be”

Meanwhile

Seunghyun was already done with his unpacking and he was currently looking outside of the windows, though it was still cold and there was still snow, the view was still captivating. At the meantime, Tae was wondering what was going on inside his head, what were the thoughts that are conflicting inside in it. “He told me yesterday that somehow he had forgotten about getting his revenge at one point but… why doesn’t he seem as sinister as he was like before?”

He drifted off at the thought and Seunghyun turned and saw him staring blankly at him, “Am I that attractive to be stared at?” he kid and sat at the chair by the window, Tae snapped at the question “Like hell you are…” he retorted and smiled, “It isn’t like you to look from afar, did something went through that head of yours?” Hyun asked in curiosity.

Without hesitation, refrain but all boldness, “Are you starting to fall for Jiyong?” there was a shocked expression on Hyun’s face and he knows he’ll be thinking about the right words to answer, but he’ll determine the way he’ll answer as the real thing. For a few moments Hyun delved once more at the question, how things were really turning out to be.

“Have I… started to like Jiyong in a different way?” he asked himself, “Though I really resented the fact that he messed up my life… as time flew by with him… I’ve been having these strange feelings that always occur inside of me” for about a minute, he found the words to say.

“No…” he trailed off with a blank expression, Tae raised a brow and looked intently at Hyun’s eyes if they were averting, but it wasn’t. “Really… are you sure?” he asked further, “Maybe… perhaps, I don’t know… things are a bit messy inside this head of mine that I can’t determine the real thing. I guess I could be at the verge of liking him… I have to confess to you since I know you’ll understand me” he looked at him with a soft stare.

Tae nodded “At the day that I was about to take him out I lost my temper on a topic we talked about and I made him angry. Honestly he had all the rights to strike harshly with the way I spoke at that time and then he left the car all of a sudden, I… I was alright with it at first but, when my head cooled down I found myself leaving the car and chasing after him. I didn’t had control of myself at that time, it was like I was stuck in a subconscious state” as Tae continued to listen, there was a certain feel within those words.

He found it amazing how feelings towards other people would change dramatically fast. “I then found him standing at the street with a car approaching and then… I dashed right in to help him. I didn’t know if I’d ever do that to someone… but I manage to pull it off” all of a sudden, there was sadness filling inside those eyes of his, “After we got back to the car, I apologized and offered him a ride to his place so I could also check if he was hurt or something, but he declined and left again… this time, I felt a stinging sensation in my chest that I couldn’t paint out”

“I was dreadful… the whole time I was thinking about it, it made me feel like I was starting to have a hole in my heart” Tae thought that there is a certainly a strong feeling brewing inside of him, he wouldn’t hold it against him but, he knows that Hyun will really need to adjust if he were to pursue that type of relationship with Ji, “I then came to the coffee shop he works at and saw Daesung who was obviously raging inside the moment he saw me…” he smiled forcefully.

“I don’t want to admit that I was worried, that I was thinking about him, that I was wondering if he was fine… but each time I did, my anxiousness grew to the point that I don’t know how to sustain it any longer, that’s the moment I thought of using you… as bait that is” he sneered at Tae but he only earned a pout, “Anyways, that night… I went to his place… fixed his bandages, bought food for him… and…” he couldn’t continue the next thing because the next was…

Baffled with what seemed to have been stuck in his tongue, “And what? Is there something more…” he was thinking that it might just me something normal for someone to treat a injured person but, a dirty little thought crossed him. “D-Don’t tell me…” he spoke in shock and Hyun seemed to have followed on what he was thinking.

“Don’t even think about something like that!” he quickly cleared, Tae then folded his arms “Then what? I’m dying to know…” he sighed, “We slept together… with slept meant, me and Jiyong only slept in the same bed but we didn’t do anything weird that may ran up inside that foul mind of yours” he elaborated, “I’ll try to think that it was possible…” he sarcastically said.

Hyun couldn’t believe that Tae wasn’t believing him, “What the hell… you know that I’m not into getting into ual activities with the same gender, and also, you know clear as day that I don’t approve some something like that” he defended, “Can you specify the whole details when the both of you were in bed?” he really was digging into it.

“F-Fine… w-we…hugged…” Tae’s eyes widened, “You really let him hug you? Wow… this is rich~” Hyun intervened “Actually… I was the one… doing the hugging” though Tae found it funny the first time it sounded, the actual thing became something sincere and serious. “Like I said, I had him running inside my head that time that I felt that he wasn’t alright, that I didn’t know what was going on with him. The very moment I had my arms around him…” his heart began to race and his body felt warmer at recalling the whole thing.

“When I… felt his warmth mix along with mine, I found refuge from the pain that was haunting me. It made me feel alright and it made me rest easily, I found the feeling enveloping and it satisfied my trembling heart” he smiled though he wasn’t facing Tae anymore.

For the first time, he’d seen Seunghyun express such thing to someone. Usually was just plain happy or pissed whenever there was a fight with him and Chaerin, but this was a lot different. Although their relationship could only be considered as something set up, there was surely an inner fire inside of them that was starting to burn up and fill their hearts with the same bond.

“Perhaps… he’s already in love with him but he hasn’t realised it yet. Seunghyun… I’ll just go along with what makes you happy, for once I’ve finally seen a tender side of you when it comes to someone that is of value for you. I hope Jiyong would see through that tough persona of yours” he stood up from the edge of the bed and stretched his limbs and made a yawn.

Hyun grimaced with the reaction he earned from him, “Is this what I deserve for telling you all of that?” he asked in a pissed off tone, “Yeah, I found it boring…” he made another yawn. “Seriously I was really an idiot on having a friend like you around” he then turned his seat to fully face the window outside.

“You know, that I’ll always tag along with what you want to do with your life, I’ll support you but I won’t meddle with something I know I’m not supposed to… at the meantime, make sure things are certain inside that heart of yours or else you’ll be the one who’s in a tough situation” he informed and Hyun didn’t got what he was trying to say.

Tae was about to leave for the bathroom but stopped, “Give or take a few months maybe you’ll tell me when you’ve finally in love with Jiyong” he said in a perky tone, immediately Hyun’s cheeks burned “Y-YAH! WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!” he yelled and threw a pillow at him. As Hyun continued to throw the remaining pillows, Tae rushed to the bathroom with a bright smile in his face.

“Sometimes you need to acknowledge how you feel for someone before you speak out… that’s the way you think Seunghyun… just remember that in my eyes you can’t hide the truth that’s written in that face of yours. I have trust in your judgement”

After a short while, both Jiyong and Daesung were waiting at the lobby for the two to come down. All the while, Dae was looking around the place since it was the first he’d been in a five star hotel. “This place is such a sight…” he marvelled at the design of the place, Ji snickered at the way he looked but he knows he’s enjoying the whole thing so he didn’t dared to ruin Dae’s moment.

“You think once you and Seunghyun get married, he’d let me apply here without an interview or something?” he asked straight forward, “I don’t think he’d be the one to decide yet, he’s not part of the management or he more likely, he hasn’t taken any responsibility for the hotel. Try asking his dad, maybe he could give you a chance in what you’re dreaming off” he suggested.

“Pft… you’re no use when it comes to things like these… I’ll just be in a minute, I need to go to the restroom” he teed off when Ji nodded. Ji then looked around and he himself appreciated the way it looked, but he didn’t have to be that amazed, it’s already a given that a high class hotel would be something like that.

“Excuse me…” someone asked “Hmm… yes?” he turned to the person and he saw a good looking guy in his diction. “I was wondering if you know where the tennis room is… I don’t know the direction to it” he asked politely with a charming smile. It took Ji for a minute to accumulate himself onto answering, “Uh… well, I-I don’t know it either… maybe you could ask the receptionist there” he pointed to the corner.

The guy turned and looked, “Oh… thank you” he turned back to Jiyong with a bright smile, “N-No problem…” the guy then offered a handshake, “Baek Seung Jo” he introduced. Ji was a bit hesitant but complied, “Kwon Jiyong” he smiled back. “It’s a pleasure to meet you… oh, you seemed to have some injuries with your arm, are you alright? Maybe I could accompany you if you need some help” Ji blinked rapidly at the offer. “Well… I uh…” he stammered.

“N-No… it’s fine, I just changed the bandages and there’s healing quite well thank you” he smiled at him, “Well… are you somehow travelling alone? If you are maybe I could accompany you, I’ll be staying here for a bit long. It would be nice to have someone alongside you” he suggested, the offer seemed a bit straight forward but the way he spoke was nice and adorable but Ji couldn’t answer quickly.

“I’d understand… I’d also think twice before tagging along with someone I just met” he seemed disappointed yet he still continued to smile. “It’s not like that… well, it’s just that I’m with my friends and I’m just waiting for them to get here” Seung’s face suddenly lightened up, “Maybe I’d see you later then…” he hoped.

Jiyong thought he’d feel bad if he’d decline to someone like him, “I’m not letting your hopes up for nothing but… perhaps. If by any chance that is” for him it was fine, “Then see you in a while then” he bowed and went off to the receptionist that Ji pointed out. “Wow… that guy was rather direct to the point. Anyways… he looked handsome…” he grinned.

When Dae came back, he saw him grinning widely. He found it strange, “Yah… are you going insane or are you having a nervous breakdown?” Ji grimaced at the question, “Just shut up…” both Tae and Hyun then came, “Oh… here they are!” Dae informed and Ji snapped his head to the direction. At the moment his eyes laid on Hyun, his heart began to flutter.

“So… where’s our first destination?” Hyun asked, “It’s not that I’m complaining or something but… isn’t visiting Jeju at this time of the year rather unpleasant? It’s still snowing…” Dae commented and both Hyun and Ji chuckled but Tae shot out a breath, “The only thing unpleasant at any time of the year is you” he stated. Dae narrowed his eyes on him “You ing …”

As the two fought with words Hyun signalled Ji to leave the two and he followed right away. “So where do you want to go first?” Hyun asked and as they walked towards the main entrance, he couldn’t help but to feel appreciated with Jiyong who was wearing the scarf and coat he bought for him. “I want to see the seaside… although it might be frozen…” he giggled. “Well one way to find out” he grabbed Ji’s hand and an initiate jolt surged through.

Inside Jiyong’s mind, it was a good thing that Seunghyun wasn’t looking, because right at that moment he was blushing. All of a sudden a strong breeze of wind blew the moment they stepped out and Ji froze in place, Hyun turned and looked at Jiyong who started to shiver, “I-I didn’t realise it was this cold” his teeth were rattling, Hyun chuckled for a moment as he found it adorable.

He let go of Ji’s hand and took of his own furred coat and covered him, he also added the bonnet and made sure he was nicely tucked in from the cold, “D-Don’t you need these? It is cold…” he worryingly asked, he shook his head “I’m fine, the cold never bothered me anyway” Ji had to let out a laugh there. “Alright fine then Elsa, do lead the way” he jokingly said and Hyun took his hand once more but this time it was gentle.

He looked Seunghyun’s back and felt his whole body heating up, “If this goes on, I don’t think I’ll need any scarf or coat for the cold weather…” he smiled underneath the thick scarf. When they arrived at the shoreline, Jiyong was astound at the wide open sea, it was magnificent to see such thing. “I guess I was right… it got frozen but it still looks wonderful. It’s like a giant ice skating ring” his eyes glistened at the beautiful view.

Hyun held a beaming smile the whole moment Jiyong was loving the view. He thought that he was with a kid and he was the guardian. Ji then stepped on the railing and got a higher position, “Whoa…. Don’t go overboard, I don’t plan on swimming with that cold water down there” he warned, “I’M SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!! THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!” he yelled out at the open, though Hyun might’ve wished that no one heard, at that point seeing him overly joyed, he couldn’t care less.

Hyun turned around and leaned on the railing and looked up in the sky, though it was dark because of the clouds it still look fine, “Alright tiger, get yourself down before you hurt yourself” he cautioned, Ji complied by starting to get down but he slipped at the frozen metal but luckily Hyun caught him. Their eyes were looking at each other, at that moment everything went blank and they were the only people there.

It was a mystic feel that neither both of them had ever imagined it be, yeah they’ve stare at each other once before but this was different. After somewhat 3 minutes or so, “C-Careful… I told you, you might get hurt…” Ji blinked several times before he came to his senses to get up on his own feet. “S-Sorry… I wasn’t paying attention to the cold railing…” he stood up.

The moment they were both on their feet, they averted they eyes from each other. It wasn’t because they felt awkward or they were uncomfortable, it was because it was what their hearts were telling them to do. “A-Are you done here?” Hyun asked but still didn’t look. “Y-Yeah… I-I guess so… where do you suggest to go next?” he stuttered out the words. “Well… there’s bowling alley, we could have some hot chocolate there while we play”

Ji then peeked at him, “Okay then… let’s go” he agreed with a sweet smile in his face, Hyun then turned and witnessed it. He wore that his heart melted at the way that smile looked and just like in autopilot, his hands took Ji’s once more as they made their way towards the bowling alley. Neither both of them talked but it was evident in their faces that they liked what they were feeling, that they enjoyed having each other besides them and being able to see such kind of smiles were the most heart filling of all.

Can you please smile like that more often? I really felt wonderful the moment I saw it… it made my heart jump and my blood rush. Please… just please smile like that all the time, I don’t want this filling to ever change.

I didn’t thought that things would be like this… never did it even turned out inside my head that I’d enjoy having you around and make me happy. I hope that you and I could be like this until the day that you decide on it. On the day you decide whether you’ll choose me rather than someone else. Because I know you had someone inside that heart of yours, so I’ll be willing to wait until then.
