Gang RoyaltySome Violence
I was cold. The ground was freezing and the wind kept nipping at my skin. My breathing slowly began to even out but it ended up turning into pants as the pain started to pulse through my body. I struggled to grab ahold of the knife in my side, but I just couldn’t reach it and had to leave it there.
I coughed, blood spurting from my lips. The metallic taste filled my mouth and slid down my throat. My blood was staining the alley and I couldn’t do anything to stop it. I couldn’t move and I couldn’t fight this. I was weak and useless.
My suffering was finally coming to an end. Everything is going to end now. I’m going to die.
“Hey kid.” I heard a feminine voice say. I flinched back not know what they were going to do to me. “Are you still alive? The hell happened? Answer me.”
I couldn’t do much but ouch once again with blood slipping from my mouth. “Did you find something Black Widow?” Came a deep male voice from farther away.
My breathing hitched as I tried to get away, they were going to hurt me just like the buy that did this to me did. I couldn’t take any more. I just want this to stop.
“Calm down kid, we aren’t going to hurt you, anymore than you already are at least.” The girl said. I tried to focus on her but it was hard. My head was spinning and I could barely focus on the ground in front of my eyes.
“Yongguk, we need to get him out of here. I want to find out just who did this and why.”
“Got a nice side to you?” The boy joked.
“Not really, there is just something about him that tells me he fighting just as hard as we are.”
I out not long later. I just couldn’t take the pain and the blood loss. It was all too much. I thought I was dead and I thanked the world for it. But when my eyes finally slid open again I wasn’t greeted my heaven’s gates, I thought I landed in hell.
The walls were cracking a grey. Windows were boarded and broken. No one was around this concrete hell. My body felt like it was torn into a thousand pieces and my head stung and spun.
“You’re awake. I thought for a while there you were actually going to die on us.” A boy said as he walked over to me. I tried to back away but a searing pain through my side stopped me. “You’re safe here. My friend and I found you bloody I an alley a few blocks away.”
He crouched down near my head, “Your bag is near you, and we didn’t go through it. But we did find your phone and tell your parents you were staying at a friend’s to work on a school project for the weekend. They said they didn’t mind and to be safe.”
“What did you do?” I rasped out.
“You were in a rough state.” The boy replied. “We patched up what we could and my friend gave you stitches where you needed them. You were beat up really badly, but you should be good if you don’t strain yourself.”
Who were these people? Why did they even help me? I should have died there. I never should have made it out of that place. I groaned as my body started to feel every pain.
“He awake Yongguk?” I heard a muffled girls voice asked out of nowhere.
“Yeah, not to long ago.” The boy in front of me replied. “He’s in pain.”
“We all knew he would be.” The girl replied and she sat before me beside the boy. They seemed close. “What the hell did you do to get this much damage done?”
“I didn’t do anything.” I replied quietly. It was the truth, I never did anything and still I would get beat up.
The two of them laughed. Their voices echoing around the room. “We aren’t dumb, no one just gets beat up like you did for no reason.”
“Well I do.” I spat. “Look, thanks for helping me and all but I should leave.”
Gritting my teeth at the pain ripping through my body I forced to sit myself up. I grabbed my bag that was just behind me and used the wall to lift myself up. I moved myself into a position that looked like I have no injuries and forced the pain down. It hurt more than anything to be standing right now, but I had to leave. Go home and act like this never happened. Maybe take a few days off of school under the guise of being sick.
I put my bag over my shoulder and started to make my way towards the door. I didn’t wince, I didn’t scream and I didn’t show that anything was wrong. I looked like any boy walking around, save for the fact my clothing was ripped and bloodied.
“The hell!” The girl exclaimed before rushing in front of me. “Look kid, I don’t know who you are but you can’t just go walking out looking like this.”
“Take a seat kid and rest, you are no where near being healed.” The boy – Yongguk – added as he came up beside the girl.
“I can handle myself just fine. Please leave me alone.” I said as I tried to move around them.
“No chance.” The girl growled before she grabbed my side, my injured side.
I scrunched my face up in pain before roughly pushing her hand away. “Don’t touch me.” I hissed as I sunk to the ground. I refused to scream, to make any major reaction that I was in immense pain at the moment.
“He’s a strong one.” Yongguk commented. “Look we don’t want to hurt
