I could hear the boys off to the side training Daehyun as I lay back on the couch last in my thoughts.  I slipped the blade I always carried with me from its sheath on my left thigh.  The strange blade I found at Son Junsuk’s place that one time, I have yet to see the owner that threw it since but he would turn up soon enough.

I ran my fingers along the cool metal of the blade, looking at the design that was hand carved into it.  A serpent was carefully detailed as the design that wrapped around the flat metal, it was almost 3D looking which only made me suspect Junsuk was the creator.  I know his work and this is strikingly like it.

But it was the design that was chosen that for me held the most mystery.  The detail put into this was on the level of extreme, this much effort isn’t put into just anything for anyone.  So just who was this intended for?  Who was the boy I saw.

I looked at the tip of the blade where the mouth of the snake was open making it seem like the tip came out of its mouth.  Fangs on either side looked deadly sharp themselves.  I scrunched my eyebrows as I looked at both fangs closely, this design and formation of it seemed familiar to me, but from where I could not say.

I’ve thought of this being something of Viper’s doing, but that thought never lasted long.  This wasn’t Viper’s style he would never use iridium.  So where else does this remind me of, what memories could I not remember this from?  There was something I was missing, something that didn’t make sense.

Putting the blade away with no more progress made on it I flipped off the couch gaining the attention of the four boys in the room.  “I’m going out.”  I told them before leaving them alone.

At this hour in the morning there is close to nothing open and I can’t blame them.  I adjusted my mask so it sat more comfortably as I walked the deserted streets.  I passed an alley and paused when I heard voices from within.  Steeping into the alley I looked at the two men in the shadows away from prying eyes on the street.

I smirked, one of my dealers selling to an addict.  My presence gained the attention of the dealer and I could see them reach of the gun I knew was hidden in the small of their back.  I raised my eyebrow at them; I could see recognition fill their eyes as they bowed, the addict not paying a single attention to his surroundings.

“Double the price for this one.”  I called softly before leaving.  I know I’m the only one selling the drug this addict is addicted to in the city.  If he wants the drug that much he can pay twice as much for it and I know he will.  They all pay my prices, because who else are they going to get this drug from?

“Might as well go find food for the boys, it’s been a while since we last sat around and had a meal at the warehouse.”  I said to myself under my breath as I started to make my way to the one place I knew was open this time of night.

A family-run restaurant existed just inside the populated area of the West district; they were open twenty-four hours and never closed.  Even holidays they kept their doors open and I have to commemorate them for that.  The food is amazing and the owners are extremely kind.  So kind in fact that I can walk I can walk in any time as Black Widow and they won’t call the cops.

They know who I am and what my reputation is, anyone in this area that is out and awake at night knows who my gang and I are to some extent.  The first time I came here with the boys, all in our masks, we were slightly worried they would call the cops and make things difficult for us.  But not once have they done anything like that.

They know I’m Black Widow, the most feared gang leader in the city, yet all they show me is kindness.  I would never harm them and they seem to know that well.  Over the years this place has come to be known as a place people in the underground can come to and purchase food without fear of the cops being called or any unwanted situations arising.

Civilians welcomed by the underground and not being a part of it is rare, but this family has managed to hold the status.  But at night, this is my gangs place and I do not take kindly to others stepping into my territory even for food.  Come during the day and I won’t hav

Chapter 34: I read the first part and decided to read the second before I wanted to comment on something but ... this is reaaaaaaaaaaaaally different from RSRC. It's a tad bit easier to understand since there's no cards involved and no powers to be understood but yeah, I really like this story as much as RSRC . The only similarity that I can find is both Oc's are BADASS! Hahahahahahha. I look forward to how this story will continue to develop!

Chapter 34: And here I am getting frustrated with Ashiya for not thinking of any possibility that the Youngjae she's been searching for is actually THE Youngjae she's been interested.. Just bcz she thought her childhood friend Youngjae "maybe" dead, but come on~ there's no information yet bout it.. Since she said that her gang is strong (or the best?) so it should be able to get information bout it if he's dead, no? So uuugghhhhhhh... >_< yeah, frustrated alright.. T^T

Chapter 33: It's amazing how much the plot opens up to you when you're more educated in the ways of all the different characters. Most stories I've read feel almost monochromatic. I am usually only seeing one person's view of things where here, it's more like a mosaic. All these individual pieces, from completely unrelated sources, come together to form a single masterpiece. They are all of different colour, shapes and sizes yet puzzle together perfectly.
Sorry for the long text. Good work as always! *i would up vote twice if I could. -_- *
