No One’s POV

In the next day, you decided to ditch class again as she still felt her lower abdomen was in pain. So she make up her mind to pay Jessica a visit and get her health check up again before it gets worst.

“Oh, here you are.” The doctor that help you get her health checks up greet her as the doctor saw her. She remember you’s face clearly as she was the one who help her at the time.

“Hello Miss Vivian.” you greet her back.

“You know you shouldn’t run away right after I stich up your injury right?” Miss Vivian said sternly before she lift up you’s shirt and examine the stich she did the other day before.

you sigh. She is more than know about that. But being the stubborn she was, she still runs away.

“I’m sorry.” you mumbled.

Miss Vivian pull down the shirt back before she check the cut on you lips. Then she pulls away before she write something on a paper and asks her assistant to prepared her medicine.

“Mr Jung asks about your condition the other day.” Miss Vivian spoken after she placed her pen on the table and stare at you in the eyes.

“Wh- what did you say?” you stuttered.

She was planning to hide the stab she got on her lower abdomen from Jessica’s family. When Miss Vivian saw her, the first thing she did was stich the injury. And when she finally done, you grip Miss Vivian wrist and pleaded to her not to tell about the injury to anyone else.

First Miss Vivian was contemplating but then she complied after a thousands pleading you made to shut about the stab she got.

Miss Vivian sigh.

“Don’t worry. I still keep your promise.” She informed.

you relieved. Her assistant came back with a medicine in her hand. She said thanks to her assistant and place the medicine in the table.

“Eat this whenever you felt the pain came back.” She said softly.

“Thank you.” you sincerely thank her.

“Just one question,” Miss Vivian spoke as she stop writing and look straight into you ‘s eyes.

“Why?” She questioned. In respond, you chuckled weakly before reaching the med and stood up.

“They just shouldn’t.” With that you bow at the doctor and step out from the place.

you walks to Jessica’s room after the meeting with the doctor. As she steps inside, her heart ache and broken into pieces.

“Jessica.” you said audible enough for the latter to hear.

Jessica startled. She lift up her hands that was covering her face before slowly revealing her puffy eyes.

She must have been crying this whole time. you thought. She approach the fragile girl who was sitting on the bed, with her knee on her chest, hands covering her face.

“you ah” Jessica said. Her voice cracked.

“You’re awake.” you said as she sit on the bedside facing Jessica. She took Jessica’s hand in hers and closed the distance between them. She entwined their fingers, before she leans closer and planted a soft kiss on Jessica’s forehead then to her cut lips.

“you ah.” Jessica said, sobbing after you pull away from the kiss.

Jessica then collapsed herself on you embrace before breaking into another tears, wailing. It hurt you so bad inside. More than the pain she felt on her lower abdomen.

“Shh.” you comforting her, pacified her to let her know that she is here for her. She broke their entwined fingers and hole Jessica in her embrace and hug her softly.

“I’m here. Don’t worry.” you said rubbing Jessica’s back.

“Eve—“

The door to this room opened widely, revealing another group with puffy eyes shown.

The younger one was surprised to see that Jessica’s already awaken and seeing that someone was already there, comforting her, relieved her a bit. The younger girl rush to their side before enveloping them into another group hug.

“I miss you unnie.” The younger one said while sobbing in the hug.

Jessica who still in her bad condition, reposition herself to face the younger girl as they pull away from the group hug.

“Krystal..” Jessica managed to say before she broke into another tears, collapsing into the younger girl’s embraced.

“We decided for you to stay home at the moment Sooyeon ah.” Mrs Jung said as she caressed Jessica’s cheek lovingly.

Jessica nod slightly before she clear to speak.

“Di—Did I got—“

“No you didn’t.” Mr Jung said softly. They knew what was Jessica’s trying to asks them.

“They didn’t get a chance. They wouldn’t get it.” Mr Jung add clenching his fist while gritting her teeth.

“Fortunately your knight came to your right at the time.” Mrs Jung jokingly trying to lift the tension from the air.

“Taeyeon.” Jessica said.

you who was hugging Jessica on the bed while lying there together, stiffen. She couldn’t help but to felt disappointed at Jessica’s oblivious answer.

“Tch!” Krystal scoffed before she looks away from the oblivious Jessica.

“What?” Jessica asks anxious.

“She leave you there unnie! She didn’t double check who was in the car after manager oppa take them!” Krystal outburst.

Jessica flinched at the sudden outburst.

you took the initiative and broke from the hug she was on, before proceeding towards beside Krystal.

For a moment there, Jessica felt empty in her heart. Which she didn’t know why but she hated it.

“What are you talking about?” Jessica asks. What she fear the most was, the fact that what Krystal just said was true, and it was actually someone else save her from the crisis.

“She leave you there alone!!” Krystal said full in English accent while frustratingly waving her hands in the air. you who was now beside Krystal rub her back to sooth her.

“You know, you don’t need to tell her about it.” you said weakly next to Krystal.

Krystal look at you disbelieve at her words.

“Seriously! I thought you love her!” Krystal said almost yelling while looking into you’s eyes.

you chuckled before she smile weakly.

“Well she don’t.” The words ring in Krystal mind and it stop her for yelling at you again. She then felt guilty. Why did she have to yell someone who saved her lovely sister? She should have ask you if she injured anywhere but she didn’t. Instead she yell her and hurt her again saying about you’s unchangeable love towards her sister.

“I’m sorry.” Krystal whispered. you smile again.

“It’s okay. I know you don’t mean it.” you know that Krystal was just not in the mood now. So she didn’t felt offended at all.

“I should go for no—“

“Don’t” Jessica grab you’s wrist before she walks away again. Jessica know that deep in her heart she don’t want you leave now. No not now she thought. She still cherished you existence in her life.

you look up at Jessica and lock gazed with her. Jessica flinched when she finally realised there was a cut on you’s lips. Jessica bit her lips as she pull you closer to her. When you finally sit on the bed, Jessica clear and stare into you’s eyes.

“It’s you..?” Jessica said, almost like asking her. you look away before she smile weakly for the umpteenth time as she look back into Jessica’s direction.

“I got that from my friend too.” you smile. As Jessica look at you, she felt like crying. How can she not notice the cut on her lips? Now that she looks up close, the cuts only visible when you smile. Unconsciously Jessica’s hands held up and she traced you’s cut lips with her finger, softly not wanting to hurt her.

“Sooyeon ah, don’t you remember who’s there to save you at the time?” Mrs Jung asks as she worried Jessica might lost some memories, even though she know, Jessica should forgot about the incident, but she don’t want Jessica to forget that you was the one who has always been there for her.

Jessica shrugged her mother’s question before she smile at you.

“Hug me?” Jessica asks cutely. you smile back. Then she embraced Jessica lovingly. Jessica hugs her back, wrapping her arms around the girl.

“Will you be my knight forever?” Jessica asks suddenly. you was taken aback, but she keep her compose as she smile widely while hugging Jessica.

“Of course I will….” you pull away from the hug and her arms now beside Jessica’s hands. you stare into Jessica’s eyes still with her previous smile. She lean closer before planting a soft kiss on Jessica’s forehead.

When you leaning closer towards Jessica, she felt her heart beating became faster. She felt hot on her cheek and she could feel butterflies in her stomach.

After you plant the kiss, she pull away before she looks back into Jessica’s eyes and smile widely.

“Of course I will Princess” She said proudly. Jessica blush at you’s word as she hung her head low.

*Double Smack*

“Ouch” you groan. She turned around saw Krystal with Mr Jung stand next to each other.

“Dad, did you hit my head just now?” you asks Mr Jung while rubbing where the pain was.

you knows that Krystal did hit her in the head, but she actually felt there was like two times she got hit at the same time. Seeing that Mr Jung were just as closed as Krystal now, she couldn’t help but to think that he did hit her.

you unconsciously pout still rubbing her head. Mrs Jung on the other hands chuckled as she cover not wanting to make any sound.

“There’s too much fluffiness” Mr Jung admitted. you, Mrs Jung, Krystal and Jessica could see Mr Jung was blushing as he turn his head away.

Jessica
