Chapter 10: Sick again

Hyoni’s POV

'OMG, my head is so heavy this morning. I couldn’t wake up from my bed. I feel so dizzy. '

My mom entered my room to wake me up but she saw I was still lying on my bed.

“Hyoni, wake up dear,” she held my hand.

“Mom, I don’t feel well today. Can I skip school today?” I asked my mom’s permission.

My mom touched my forehead and  she was shocked.

'My forehead is seriously really hot like burning prawn.'

“Hyoni, your body is so hot. You better rest at home today. I’ll call your homeroom teacher,” my mom said and walked out from my room. I slept again. It was tiring cleaning the toilet yesterday.

Eunhyuk’s POV

'Why does Hyoni not come to school today? Is she angry with me for not helping her yesterday?'

I asked myself as I looked at her empty place.

“What’s wrong with you, baby? You look worried” Hara asked me caringly. He touched my shoulder and put her chin on it.

“Nothing, I'm just tired,” I replied her question lazily. My homeroom teacher then entered the class and Hara quickly went back to her place.

“Before we start our class, I just want to mention you guys, Hyoni is absence because she gets fever. Now, let’s continue yesterday lesson,” Mr Kim started teaching like usual.

'What? Hyoni gets fever? This is all my fault. I should help her yesterday. Teachers' toilet is really big enough for her. Even she and I could not finish it in a short time and sometimes we just leave it during our detention. I can’t concentrate in class until the school end.'

I rushly packing my things without noticed that Hara was walking towards me.

“Eunhyuk, let’s go eat together,” Hara invited me.

“I am sorry Hara. I couldn’t make it today. Maybe next time,” I excused and hurriedly walked out from the class.

'I must visit Hyoni. I cannot forgive myself if something bad happens to her.'

Hara’s POV

'What’s wrong with him? He never be like this before.'
