I don't need it, nor do I crave it. That glint of empathy in your eyes; the way you suddenly speak such kind words — I need none of it. 

At times I just want to scream; I want to announce that this is more torture than my actual predicament. I want to be isolated so I won't be the subject of your sympathy.

I have no use for your pity.
