The hostile voice that used to puncture into the silence now murmurs sweet nothings by my ear. Those unwilling eyes, now unravel so many fluid emotions to me.

Yet, the words you speak still oppose the actions you take: merciless insults spout from your lips — the very same that can be so angelic and tender. Your now expressive eyes seem to voice your inner most thoughts, yet they never do, all the same. Neither do you treat me like the rest — your actions entirely compelled by raw emotions within your eyes.

Conflict is evident in everything you do. The one thing that is constant, is that you don't hold back.

Others tell me to run while I can.
Warn me even, to escape before you can hurt me.

But, they're unaware;
Oblivious.
Towards who's before them.

You're no facade,
You just need time.
You're not malicious,
Just afraid.

You're no monster,

Just a wounded creature.
