He cupped my cheeks then pinched them, as he gave me a practiced smile. "Get lost," he stated coldly as he patted my head, turning back to the pile of paperwork on his desk. 

 

"Well, a very good morning to you too, Mr Lee."

 

He threw an indifferent glance at the watch on his wrist, waiting for my retreat. "Ms Jeon, please show yourself out." he finally uttered after seeing no movement from me.

 

"Miss Jeon." he repeated, eyes turning dark.

 

"But I just wanted to-" I argued, irritated and flustered at being dismissed so quickly.

 

"Go." he replied with only a word, not angered but firm.

 

"Y-you can't do this to me!" I retorted without giving much thought.

 

"Oh really, now?" he turned to me with a sly, venom-dripped smile, his eyes taunting, as if I were his prey.

 

A nauseating feeling churned within me, causing a hint of uneasiness to betray my calm facade.

 

"Watch me." he simply spat out at me with a dignified, icy-cold glare.

 

"I am your fiancee, mind you!"

 

"So? That just makes you the brat whom I have a marriage contract with." he shot back with a sickening calmness, not even a shred of emotion was revealed in his tone.

 

"It's not like I wanted this either! Who'd want to marry you?"

 

"You should be thankful for striking it rich overnight, ungrateful brat. Now get out!"

 

I stomped out of the ridiculously huge office with a scowl on my face. So much for getting to know each other better.
