Disappointment
Writing CompilationDisappointment.
I always hear that word.
I always see it.
I feel it,
And succumb to it; more often than not.
At times I forget, and wonder why there's so much emphasis on it. Why it holds so much importance. Then I remember how it silently seeps into the crevices of one's heart and throws them into a pit of slow, burning flames. How it jumps you from behind when you least expect, and just shatter you to bits. How it eventually destroys even the strongest of people to become nothing at all.
It's easily a million times worse than anger.
Most of us know how to prevent it, actually.
Yet, so little of us can actually escape from it.
