Teke-Teke
Horrifyingly SHINee: A Collection
Taemin always walked the same way home from university on Tuesday nights. He had late classes and always chose to walk the well lit pathways instead of the shorter but darker path.
The last bus was always 10 minutes later on Tuesdays so he didn’t worry about the extra time.
So when his last class ran later than ever and he risked missing the last bus, Taemin didn’t think twice about taking the short cut.
That is until he was half way down the path and the darkness began closing in on him.
He began moving faster, until a pretty girl appeared leaning against a windowsill in the supposedly empty science building. His pace slowed as he tried to get a good look at her.
She smiled at him and he felt his knees go weak.
And then confusion set in.
Why was a girl in an all-boys school?
It was all he had time to think before her smile turned evil, eyes seeming to stare through his soul before she moved, pulling herself out the open window.
Taemin froze in fear as he took in the horrifying sight of the girl in front of him, standing only half his height.
Where her legs should have been, there was nothing. Her body stopping at her waist, her arms used to propel her forward towards the shaking boy.
The only thought that he had as he stared at the vengeful spirit, was the thought of what would happen if he wasn't fast enough to get away.
Suddenly, Taemin felt himself jolt back to reality. He his heel and started running back to the main part of campus.
A strange sound followed quickly behind him, the scratching 'teke teke' of the ghostly girl pulling her body along the ground. Something in her hand
Thanking his friends for forcing him into Track and Field, he was able to run longer and faster than he could have a year before.
He reached the well lit area and stopped, bending at the waist to catch his breath.
Looking behind him and seeing the ghostly girl was gone, he smiled feeling relieved.
It was it a fatal mistake.
A high giggle came from behind him and he turned slowly,
Standing there, blocking the door to safety, was the multilated girl, still smiling.
Frozen now with fear, he was unable to move as something large and silver reflected an overheard light. The saw flashed, moving quickly in the night.
The young student's face was forever etched in a look of horror as his upper body slipped away from the lower and fell to the ground, now an exact copy of her own dismemberment.
