Chapter 21
The chauffeur and the arrogant princess
“Thank you Madam Kwon…” Sohee told her lecturer before heading out of the lecture hall. As soon as she came out, Seojoon suddenly appeared out of nowhere, scaring her a bit. “Don’t scare me like that…” she told him causing him to bow, apologising.
Though they were two completely different person, Seojoon every action always reminded her of Chanyeol. “I need you to drive me somewhere…” she ordered. “But I was ordered to…” before he could even finish his sentence, Sohee cut him off. “You…just don’t talk to me…if you want to survive, just obey my order.” She warned him.
“But…” Sohee quickly made her way ahead of him.
Left with no other option, Seojoon just followed her order. After several moments, they finally arrived. Sohee carefully got off the car. “Stay here...in the car...or leave. You choose.” She said, slamming the door.
The moment, she turned, she saw Chanyeol’s mother walked out of the grocery shop, lifting a box. “Sohee?” she was surprised. Sohee then went towards her and offered some help but Chanyeol’s mom simply refused. “What are you doing here my dear?” she asked. Sohee smiled slightly. “I come to see Chanyeol…” she told her.

“Chanyeol told me all about it this morning. I was quite surprised myself when I heard that…”she told Sohee while placing a mug of hot tea for Sohee. “Thank you…” she thanked her briefly. “I want to know why he quit his job…”
Chanyeol’s mom nodded merely. “Me too. But I’m sure he has a reason…”
Sohee sighed slightly.
For whatever reason, this has to be related to her father. If not, he wouldn’t just simply quit his job. She thought.
