Sohee took a sip of her warm milk and honey. She then put on her earphones and tuned in to her favourite song. Since her tense conversation with Myungsoo earlier that evening, Sohee couldn’t take her mind off it making it harder for her to fall asleep. After saying what she needed to tell him, Sohee just walked away, leaving no space for him to talk back.

She stared blankly and let her mind wandered. “What are you doing here Sohee shi?” a familiar voice snapped her out of her thought. Sohee looked up and saw Chanyeol heading towards her way. “I can’t sleep...” she answered brief as she took off one of her earphones. “Me too...” he said, pouring himself a glass of plain water. “I told him I’m not going to marry him...” she told him out of sudden. Chanyeol paused for a moment, surprised. He was not expecting to hear that. “Ohh…” he replied brief. Sohee looked at him.

Chanyeol didn’t know what else to say or how else to react. He then walked towards her. “What did you listened to?” he randomly asked her, changing the subject altogether. “Why don’t you listen to it yourself…” she said as she handed him one of the earphones. Chanyeol, without hesitating took the earphone and leaned against the kitchen counter as he listened to the song. “Sound good…” he said. “It is..” she said as smiled at his direction. Chanyeol nodded. “Why…did you…”he stuttered. “I’m not sure…” she answered as if she already knows what he was about to ask. ”I was only following what my heart is saying…” she said.

“Or maybe because… I like somebody else…” she said, slowly turning to look at his face. Realising he was being stared, Chanyeol fixed himself a bit and turned to look at her. “I better get going… You better go to sleep too. Your class is early tomorrow…” he said. Chanyeol smiled slightly and took off the earphone. He handed it to her and excused himself.
