Next day at the Generation bakery.

 

*Ring ring*

 

"He called!" Tiffany said excitedly.

 

"Then hurry up and pick it up!" Nichkhun said.

 

"Hello?"  Tiffany answered.

 

"Hi I want a delivery." A women spoke to her on the phone.

 

"Bakery's closed." Tiffany said and put down the phone immediately. 

 

"Not him." Tiffany said disappointedly. 

 

"Wait a while more i guess." Nichohun looked outside the window and said.

 

Tiffany looked at Nichkhun. He looked very solemn today and he was spacing out.

 

"Hey, you alright?" Tiffany asked.

 

"Sorry what did you say?"  Nichkhun came back to reality and turned his head back.

 

"Oh nothing." He added.

 

"Jjinja?" Tiffany asked. She felt like Nichkhun wasn't his usual noisy self today.

 

"You're very enthusiastic about your mission this time unlike the rest of the missions" He said.

 

"You mean my case?"

 

"Yeah."  Nichkhun did not dare to look at Tiffany. They remained silent for a moment and then the silence was broke by the ringin of the telephone.

 

"Hello?" Tiffany answered.

 

"Is this Tiffany?"  Taecyeon asked.

 

"Yeah!" Tiffany said. 

"Mission success!" She thought to himself and showed Nichkhun a victory sign.

 

"Is your feet alright?" Taecyeon asked out of concern.

 

"Yes it's alright now" Tiffany replied.

 

"That's good then. Well I shall not interrupt you anymore.B..."

 

"Hey hey hold on, have you eaten dessert?" Tiffany didn't knew he was calling out of concern.

 

"Not yet."

 

"Then have our pastries!" Tiffany said.

 

Nichkhun suddenly smiled and showed a thumbs up, however his expression was unnatural.

 

"Alright then." Taecyeon agreed.

 

"Sooo, what do you want?" Tiffany asked.

 

"Anything."

 

"I'll get you three signature pastries then!" Tiffany said.

 

"Okay"

 

"Then see you in 20 minutes." Tiffany said happily. Her mission was going so well.

 

"Are you going as well?" Tiffany asked Nichkhun. She needed him to give her a sense of security.

 

"I have a case to settle. Don't worry you're doing fine, call me if anything happens alright?" Nichkhun said.

 

"Okay then!" Tiffany said and walked off. Her confidence level went down by a notch.

 

After 40 minutes at Taecyeon's house:

 

"How is the chocolate lava cake, earl grey ice cream cupcake and cream puff?" Tiffany asked.

 

"Are you sure you major in films instead of baking?" Taecyeon said.

 

"Does it taste like your mum's' baking?" Tiffany wanted to test him.

 

" She passed away." 

 

"Sorry about that!" Tiffany forgot about his fact file.

 

"But my girlfriend bakes occasionally. Just not that delicious." He laughed.

 

"How about mine?" Tiffany asked 

 

"Way better." Taecyeon showed a thumbs up.
