This continious from chapter 4.

Donghae pov

“Who is it?!” I yell to Heechul

“It’s me.” I here Hangkyung answer.

“Oooh hey Hangkyung” I say when I leave the kitchen and enter the living room again.“What brings you here? I thought you had to work today?”

“Well yeah I have to leave soon, but I found somebody wondering around the streets and brought him here.”

“Really who?” I ask as I look around trying to find somebody else. But I only see Heechul and Hangkyung.

He points to the hall, so I walk over.

I see Taemin standing there his fingers playing with the hem of his shirt. He is hopping from one foot to the other, he hasn’t noticed me yet. You can see he’s nervous. Something is wrong. Something happened.

I walk over and pull him into a hug. I can hear him scream a bit in surprise as I rip him out of his thoughts with my move.

“What’s wrong?” I say softly into his ear.

“Nothing hyung.” He’s trying to sound happy, but he doesn’t fool me.

“Don’t lie to me Tae, I’m not stupid.”

“Well I got into the dance school.”

“Really that’s fantastic.”

I knew he could do it, I never doubted him. He is an amazing dancer. He just lacks a bit of confidence.

“And why are you sad?” I ask him, knowing that this isn’t all.

“Well…eeuuuhhm…”

“It’s okay Tae, you don’t have to be afraid off me. You can tell me.”

He takes a deep breath.

“Well mother and her husband found out. They weren’t really happy about it. They wanted me to go to business school.”

He pauses, I can feel him hesitate.

“So?? What happened?”

“Well they kind of kicked me out.”

“They what?!?!?”

How dare they kick my brother out for following his dreams. I swear I hate them. I will…

I feel Taemin stiffen in my grip.

“I’m sorry.” He says really softly.

“Oooh Tae I’m not mad at you. I’m sorry I yelled. You can stay here if you want.”

“Really?? I don’t want to burden you.”

“You won’t Tae, you’ll never be a burden to me. You are my little brother.

He pulls away from the hug and bows down 90°. I can see his face flinch a bit as if he is in pain.

“What else happened?”

“Nothing.” He looks at me with a confused look.

“Nothing?”

 I walk closer to him and pull up his shirt. He tries to grab it and keep it down, but I’m stronger.

His chest and stomach are filled with bruises.

“You call this nothing?”

I look up at him, his eyes start to tear up slowly but he tries to push them away.

He never cries in front of me anymore. It’s like he doesn’t want to look weak.

I grab him and pull him into a hug again.

“It’s okay to cry.” I whisper in his ear, while I rub his back slowly.

He swings his arms around me and pulls me closer. He pushes his face into my chest, trying to muffle the sound off his sobs.

I see Heechul’s head peak trough the door.

I form the word ‘first aid kid’ with my mouth and Heechul nods.

He turns around to get it.

After 20 minutes the sobs completely stop.

Taemin let’s go of me and takes a step back. “Sorry” He wispers softly

“It’s okay.” I take his hand and pull him to the living room. Heechul is already there with the first aid kid.

“Take of your shirt.”

He looks at me with big eyes, shaking his head.

“Taemin, I have to tread your wounds. Now take it off, don’t be such a baby.”

His eyes turn even bigger as he quickly pulls his shirt off. I wonder why he looked so scared.

I walk closer and start to tread his wounds. It looks worse than I thought.

“Who did this?”

“M…M…Mother’s husband.” He says so soft that I almost don’t hear him.

I want to jump up and yell, but I keep it in. Taemin looks scared. So I just nod.

How could he do this. That bastard. If I ever walk into him I will kill him.

I start to put the stuff away, while Taemin puts his shirt on.

“Do you want something to eat?”

Before he can even answer the question, his stomach answers for him.

I start to laugh as I walk to the kitchen and make him something to eat.

When I’m back he’s talking to Heechul, Hangkyung already left for work.

I put the food down in front of him and start to eat my own food.

We eat in silence the only sound you can hear is the tv.

After two hours off silence I open my mouth again.

“So when do your lessons start?”

“In 2 weeks.”

“Is there anything we need to buy before then?”

“No I got in on a full scholarship.”

“Really?!?!” I yell excitedly. “Wooh Tae you are amazing.”

He can’t hide his smile at the compliment.

“No I’m not really. It’s all because you helped me.”

“Ooh I know I’m amazing to.”

“Yeah right.” I hear Heechul scoff at the other end of the couch.

It's a small update I'm sorry. But the next chapter school is going to start and I wanted to start it in a new chapter.
