Sincerely Like
My 'Deer' Luhan“Whoa!”
“Holy cow!”
“I know what you mean, dude”
Kyungsoo blinked for another couple of times, trying to store the image he witnessed inside of his mind. He turn his head to his left, looking at Luhan who is the only one helping the taxi driver to unload their luggage from the car boot.
“You got a really nice house,” he says and Luhan stopped for a second to turn at him. Smiling, he said a short thanks and Kyungsoo turn his head back to the big building in front of him.
He knows that Luhan is filthy rich but he didn’t expect it to be this rich. This house is humongous to be habitat by only two men.
“Are you sure you don’t get the wrong address, Luhan?” Minseok said with uncertain expression. He bit his lip in wary incase his question sounded rude to Luhan. Instead, the guy just gave him a hearty laugh before he playfully confirmed his question by checking the house number “Yup 29! It’s my house number, all right,”
The other exchange glances to each other before they grab their luggage and trailed behind Luhan who already seeping himself behind the giant gate house.
Yoora blinked in disbelief once she steps in inside the house compound. Event hough the garden is quite small compared to the huge house, it was decorated beautifully; with a human-made fountain that connected to the mini fish pond and benches made out of stone that are placed nearby it –the scenery looks perfect.
Her awe didn’t last there. The house is at least two times bigger than Luhan’s house in Busan. Compared to his house in Busan, this house looks more elegant and more wealthy-looking, with all those tight security guarding this neighborhood and a CCTV spotted on most of the street lampost.
She gotten in another mouth ajar situation once she steps inside the big bungalow. Contrast to his house in Busan, this house seems more vintage and it makes Yoora wondered who was the one decorated the interior, knowing very well that Luhan didn’t live with her mother and she is very sure his father taste is indeed more modern than this. Dragging her eyes to the entire living area, Yoora couldn’t help but to compliment unconsciously “It’s so pretty,”
Hearing what she said, Luhan turn to look at Yoora who was busy gaping at the quiet space behold in front of them. He smiled at the sights. Her awed face is so cute!
“I know, right? My grandmother was the one who decorated all of these,” he said, gaining the attention from all of them.
“You live with your grandma?” Yoora ask surprised. Part of her softens when she saw the soft smile Luhan gave her at the mention of his grandmother.
“Yeah but she already passed away, 4 years ago. The interior never change ever since then. We decide to remained it that way” he said still with a smile. That makes all of them look at him in silence. None of those comforting words manage to escape any of them. Noticing the awkwardness, Luhan brushed it off by slapping Kyungsoo shoulders “Don’t look at me like that. It was an old story. I’ve gotten over it long time ago,”
Still, the silence seems wouldn’t want to go away. Only awkward glances are exchanged with each other.
“So, where is our room?” trying to break the thickness of the awkwardness, Yoora decide to start the conversation first. Grabbing on Hani arm, she pull the girl closer to her. Hani gave her a smile, knowing what she’s trying to do.
“Yeah Luhan. I want to take a shower, please. I’m all sweaty now,” Hani played along and she gave Yoora a quick wink. Yoora smiles at her before she turns to Luhan who was blinking at them before he nodded understandingly.
“Come on guys, follow me,” he said, closing the front door before he lead them upstairs through the grand staircase. Slowly relaxing their shoulders, the boys make their way behind Luhan back, following him to the upstairs.
“Yoora and Hani will sleeping inside that room and you guys are sleeping in my room,” Luhan said, pointing at the door nearby before he pointed to the room across it.
Groaning and a few disgust remarks are being heard at the mention of his few last words. Yoora couldn’t help but to laugh at how Minseok who by now already started whinning
“Thanks Luhan,” Hani said and Yoora repeated her before she followed Hani inside the room. It was interior for a woman, judging by the color scheme and the design of the furniture’s. Yoora noticed that it was Luhan’s grandmother room once she saw a picture of an old woman hanging on the maroon painted wall.
“Do you think it will be fine for us to stay in this room?” Hani voice out the same question she had been questioning inside his mind. Yoora shrugged her shoulders, not knowing the answer. Judging from before, Luhan cares for his grandma a lot, yet he allowed them to sleep in here. Usually, these kinds of things are too precious to be touched by strangers.
“I guess he’s fine with it,” Yoora said, placing back the small frame contain a picture of an old woman who Yoora assume
