Fair skinned, long hairs, small lip, round eyes, and quiet –those have always been the characteristic that he always look up to in a woman. Luhan had always this standpoint of attractive measure when he see a girl. He prefers a girl to be a bit an introvert rather than an extrovert.

His characteristic of ideal woman was always based on Jae In features, his own tutor. After all, she had always been his one and only crush of his 18 years of living. Jae In was the only women had successfully entered his heart without even trying. Devoted himself to liking her for a year, he was rejected even before he confess when the lass suddenly announcing her engagement to him. 

He clearly remembered how heartbroken he is, how painful he is whenever the love of his life happily talking about her future with her soon-to-be husband. Nevertheless, Luhan knows better that he can’t do anything. After all, he was only 16 and underage. Dating a 23 years old college student was impossible and he acknowledges that. The last time he ever met the tutor was the day a wedding invitation card were handed to him, personally by those happy couple. He didn’t even bother to attend their wedding reception.

Being so young, so naïve about love he couldn’t do anything but to just accept the fact that she has become someone else’s. She is no longer his Miss Jae In –who always treated him to some snack after their hard day of studying, the place where he tell her his day at school.

Jae In is different. She’s not like any other girls, maybe it because she was 23 back then. She always been so matured and supple compared to other girls in his class who always go stupidly gaga over him. She always so calm and it ease him to be around her.

After she left, Luhan find himself hard to look for Jae In replacement. The girls on his age are different and he mean just distantly different. They are just so loud and mostly annoying. None of them has bits of Jae In in them.  None of them are composed as his tutor.

Since then, his heart no longer beating loudly whenever he look at other women –just like how its beat when Jae In was around him. Although, Luhan is the type to not let his guard down by befriending a girl.. He denied every attempt of relationship invitation by the girls. It’s quite given that he don’t ever fall in love once again.

But heart doesn’t simply give false hope. A heart is one’s honest feeling can be detected.  Heart does not lie.

He got to sincerely acknowledge, It’s been so long since he could feel the throbbing inside his chest. The painful drums yet pleasurable to him. It should only beating like this because he had finally met his Jae In replacement, right? But, why?

Why is the image in front of him are not like what he expected? The image in front of him are far than he predict

The girl in front of him doesn’t have long hair like Jae In. The girl in front of him aren’t white and beautifully pale like Jae In. The girl in front of him are not good at keeping her noise down like Jae In. But why? Why his heart beatings like this when the girl in front of him is far from his ideal thought of someone to be the love of his life?

Even though the girl only have short hair, Luhan concede, he loves it how it just hanging above her shoulders. Even though the girl skin tone aren’t white as others, he loves it knowing the fact that she got it from spending time on the field doing sports. Even though the girl is loud, Luhan loves how her pitch went insanely high when she’s scolding the three guys when they did something to annoy her.

Luhan swallowed knowing the words that floating inside his own mind that he was afraid to admit it

He..He loves her, didn’t he?

 He is in love.  I am in love .Luhan grin at his own thought. A sudden satisfaction clouding his heart now that he had admitted to it.

He find it funny how the girl he’s in love is no other than Yoora. Not Park Haeri, the prettiest girl in the school who apparently show an interest in him but the girl who probably don’t look at him more than a friend, Lee Yoora.  The girl who he accused to go head over heel on him when they just first met. The girl who least the quietest person in the class. The girl who eat gluttonously and nothing like a normal teenage girl. But now look at what he had become. He fell for that girl.

The breathtakingly beautiful  girl that is standing in front of him right now.

Luhan couldn’t process of anything. Yoora just look so stunning to him. It’s not like he never seen girls in such dress before. But Yoora is just so not the same. She doesn’t need branded cloth for her to look pretty in his eyes. She doesn’t need to apply thick colors on her face just for her to be defined as beautiful.

Luhan lost track of time as he keep on staring at her. Is it weird of him to say that the way Yoora fidgeting seems so cute to him right now?

Maybe he should give himself some times to sort of his own feeling. He feels he has become silly. He never mind all of those things before.

 He unconsciously let out a big smile, noticed by the three adults around him. Mr Xi smirks amusingly at the sight of his son and he let out a throaty cough, trying to snap out of his trance.

“Luhan, it’s not polite to stares down at a girl like that.  I know she is pretty but you made her uncomfortable,” his old man voice snapped something inside of him. Looking around him, he saw three pairs of eyes mischievously looking at him. When he saw how Yoora bite her lips and blush, he instantly does the same. He could feel sudden heat on his cheek after realizing what his father just said to him.

“N-No. I wasn’t staring. I-I…I was just – ” Luhan should just dig a hole and hid himself. Why did he stutter? And why the hell he blushes for? When Yoora take a small peek to him, Luhan grew redder. It’s like he was caught red-handed.

“I was just kidding, son. Why you all flustered?” Luhan clearly noticed that his dad was teasing him. He groans inwardly.

Yoora bit her lips.  All the time she was keeping her head low, trying to avoid the piercing look that Luhan gave to her. She didn’t expect him to actually staring at her and hearing his dad making a comment about it makes her to rush into sudden embarrassment. The fact that Luhan has been standing there and just staring at her the whole time making her to blush madly. When their eyes meet, Yoora noticed how Luhan going more red. She was rather shocked seeing the tips of his ears are vividly in red when she was looking at him. At the sight of that, she couldn’t help but to flush a deeper red. It’s weird how they are like exchanging words just with their expression and glances and of course, their blushes.

She needs to get out of this. She can’t take it no more. If she keeps on blushing, people might think she caught a high fever judging from how red she is right now

“Uhm…Mr. Xi, I’ll excuse myself first. I need to go to find the washroom,” she said almost inaudible.

“Sure my dear,” He gave her a light chuckle before he proceed “Do you know where it is?”

Yoora shook her head and give the guy a small smile “I can just look for it,”

“If that the case…Luhan, go and show this pretty lady where the washroom is,” he said as he slightly push his son toward her direction.

Luhan eyes widened a bit when he feels his body was suddenly pushed towards Yoora. Turning his head to his back, he saw his dad winking at him teasingly.  Luhan don’t know how should he reply to that. Should he be thankful for his dad help or he should be mad at him for being quite insensitive instead?

“N-No, it’s okay. I can manage,” it’s so not like her –how she waved both of her hand politely, denying the help that’s been offered to her.

“It’s fine. It won’t hurt for him to help you anyway,” his dad urge and literally shoving his son to her. Luhan couldn’t help but to stand beside her as three pairs of eyes looking at them. He looks over at Yoora and saw how the girl gives a quick look at him.

Clearing his throat he pokes her arm to gain her attention “Come with me,”

“Huh? Uh, okay….,” Yoora follows his steps before she give her parents one quick glance only to receive a big smile spreading on their lips. What the heck they are all happy about? Your daughter is alone with some guy here! At least, show some concern
