Kris POV

She looked at us teary eyes for awhile and turned around stepping inside the door that guide her to the plane with her shoulders hanging down totally disappearing from our sight and that was the moment when we finally realized that … She's gone

My chest tightened; I looked at the guys with sad expression I wrapped my arm around Tao and Sehun’s waists and guided them with me to the exit; Sehun didn’t say anything and just walked along with me expressionless while Tao was blankly walking with tears in his eyes; We stepped out of the airport but oddly there were police cars everywhere and reporters flashes were going crazy at the moment; I saw the Ajummah from ____'s mansion passing by with the police men?

"Isn't she ….?" Chanyeol said looking at me with wide, unsure eyes; I looked at them blankly and suddenly my chest tightened and I felt a lump in my throat; I was feeling uneasy; I clenched where my heart was aching and I could feel a lack of oxygen

‘What’s wrong with this feeling?’ I thought swallowing hard and tightening the grip on my heart; I just felt something bad happened

"Hyung? Are you okay?" Baekhyun said and I looked at him unsure; I wasn't really feeling good!

"Yes sir, we were able to successfully arrest Jung wonho before his plane took off  …" I heard the police man saying while passing by and I looked at the guys shocked after hearing that___ family was involved in this; hurriedly we headed back to the airport and I saw ____ standing فاثقhI saw ____ standing there snd I looked at the guys and hurriedly headed back to the airport and I saw ____ standing there sat the same place she was just awhile ago but this time she was being hugged by the Ajummah

____ POV

I sat down on the plane chair near the window and sighed heavily; I looked at the heavy rain outside and held my hand near my chest feeling uneasy; my heart started aching crazily and I felt tears rushing back to my eyes; I felt like I just lost someone so important to me  … again

Suddenly, I saw two police men approaching us and I saw my Uncle being dragged off the plane; me and Taegoon were asked to step off the plane as well and the moment I stepped out; I looked around the place but … they were gone

 I felt like a lost child; I was afraid at how the police men were everywhere and I was standing there not understanding what's going on when a police man was passing by; I stopped him politely

"Excuse me sir … W-What’s going on?" I said looking at him while swallowing hard; he looked at me unsure

"Ah … I'm really sorry to tell you that but we were informed that he was the one who arranged the *purposely caused accident* to kill the Jung(s) last year …" he continued saying things and I looked at him dizzily; he then bowed and left; I looked around the place blankly and tears were silently running down; my eyes were wide open not believing what I just heard; I saw Taegoon approaching me with a sad and broken expression; I looked at him dizzily; I was trembling crazily at the moment; he came closer to me and brought my head gently to his chest while patting my back to calm me down

"I'm sorry ……." He whispered softly with shaky voice and I can tell how shocked and hurt he was himself that his father would do such thing; I saw Ajummah heading toward me with 2 officers; Taegoon broke the hug when he saw her as well

"H-He killed … Appa  " I said crying on Ajummah's chest

"H-He killed Umma … I knew it … I swear I knew it …" I continued sobbing hard

"Shhhhh everything's going to be alright … Everything's going to be fine …" Ajummah said whispering while patting my back softly

Kris POV

We were all standing far enough from them since the police men were busily investigating with the family; I looked at her for the last time making sure she's fine in Ajummah's arms

"Guys; we need to head back it's late enough and we don’t want to grab any attention" I said looking at them trying hard to cover myself

" but hyung shouldn't we at least ….." Luhan said and I cut him off

"She's fine … we don't need to worry" I said while breathing hardly feeling something heavy on my chest making it hard for me to breathe …

The guys nodded and we all headed back to the dorm; it was raining heavily outside; the dorm was so cold and gloomy; something just felt … so wrong; I took off my shoes and headed inside heavily along with the guys when the phone suddenly went off; I looked at it and it was a call from manager hyung; I kept staring at the phone ringing in my hand; it wasn’t just a sound … it was a bad feeling with a cold breeze; hesitantly, I picked up the phone and gulped hardly

 "Y-yeah … hyung?" I said afraid of what I’m going to hear

“Are you guys at home?” He said with a heavy voice

“Mmm” I said in a shaky tone

“Do you have money? Money for a taxi?” he said and his voice became a bit shaky

“I do … why?” I said and my heart started banging so fast as if it was going to burst out

“Don’t … be surprised “he said and shivers ran down my spine; I can clearly sense that this was a bad call

“Lay …” he said and my heart stopped beating

“He was involved in a huge car accident” He said and his voice vanished slowly at the last few words

“Lay … was involved in a huge car accident.” he repeated again with a less shaky and more controlled voice; my eyes widened and tears rushed to them falling crazily without me blinking once; my lips started trembling and I started breathing heavily

“Don’t cry … if you cried in front of the guys … they will cry as well” he said and I can hear him clearly crying at the moment; I just blankly heard his words and not even replying back with a word; I saw the guys panicked expression but I just breathed heavily with tears running madly down my cheeks still under shock, with wide opened eyes; my heart was in so much pain … I could die at the moment

“Get a grip of yourself and come …” he said with cracking voice and I just breathed heavily totally rejecting the idea of believing what I just heard;

“Kris … Kris …” I heard hyung’s madly shaking voice and my sobs started to come out

“Don’t cry … I won’t cry “he said and I could clearly hear him crying; I just burst out crying still not believing what I heard and my sobs started echoing around the place

“What are you saying ….” I said while crying in disbelief; I ran out of breathe; I breathed in again and cried harder

“What are you saying ….” I said and sat helplessly on the ground as my legs became weak

“Lay ... Lay …” I cried out louder while calling out Lay’s name like a little kid; my sobs were all over the place

“YAH!!!! KRIS!!! What’s wrong with Lay? Hmm?” I looked at Luhan who was trying to get a word from me while shaking afraid of what he’s going to hear; I saw how the guys were all standing there at their places without moving and I can tell they already got the message that something bad happened to Lay

“Lay … This can’t be happening …” I kept on shivering and crying hard on the floor like a little kid with the phone still stick to my ear and I can hear hyung crying on the other side as well; the phone got snatched off my ear and the next thing I know we were all running in the long corridor in the hospital straight to the emergency operation room   

_____POV

The police came and asked Ajummah to come for a moment to be asked some questions before heading to the police station for further investigation; I managed to stop my continuously running tears and heavily I walked away to sit on a nearby lounge

 I sat there spacing out; I was informed from Ajummah that the driver once overheard my Uncle telling the man who purposely crashed my parent's car to kill them so he can take over the company but the driver kept silent since he was afraid of my Uncle’s power but he finally got the courage to report it to the police just an hour before our leave to the US

"OH MY GOD!!!" A girl beside me shouted and I snapped out of my thoughts by the sudden scream

"WHAT? WHAT?" her friend came running while holding cups of coffee and the girl just pointed at the wide screen hanged on the wall with wide eyes and her hand was covering her opened mouth; my eyes shifted to the screen and for the second time my whole life crushed in front of my eyes; I saw the breaking news about a huge accident and EXO Lay was involved in it

Blankly I stood up and started running around the airport looking around like I just lost someone; like a kid who just lost her parents; I was bumping people unconsciously; while tears just kept on falling down crazily without any noise; I was half blind and I couldn’t think straight; I was barely breathing; I kept on shifting my eyes left and right looking for him   

"It can't be … He was just here! He was just here next to me” I mumbled dizzily and blankly still running around the airport looking for him

 “He was just here holding my hand; He just said he loved me!!" I mumbled totally refusing to believe what I just saw; I blankly stepped out of the airport door and it was raining heavily outside; I looked around the place and quickly stopped a Taxi and hurriedly head to Seoul hospital; I tried my best not to cry and I refused to think about anything bad happening to him

“He’s fine … Lay is just fine …” I kept on repeating and swallowing back the tears hardly

The media were surrounding the place; hurriedly I ran inside the hospital and asked about Lay and I was informed that he's in the emergency operation room right now

I ran where the room was and I stopped in the very end of the corridor and I could see EXO and manger hyung all standing there worriedly; Baekhyun being hugged by Chanyeol who is trying to calm him down

Kris POV

I saw manager hyung; he was sitting there looking down while his hands on his forehead; tiredly and trying hard to hold my tears I approached him

 "H-hyung?" I whispered and he looked up slowly; meeting my teary eyes; he stood up tiredly and looked at us

"His condition worsened on the way to the hospital … He lost a lot of blood …" hyung said and I could feel tears burning my eyes

"H-hyungie … Hyung is going to be fine …. I'm s-sure " Tao said bursting on tears saying the last two words … saying nothing Luhan took him in his arms and tried to calm him down

I laid my back desperately on the wall; I heard light steps at the end of the corridor; I raised my eyes slowly to meet the teary eyes of a soaked ____; she was wet from head to toe; she looked so lost; slowly she approached us while trembling and her eyes were wondering around the place and I could that she’s hardly trying to believe what’s happening; I steady myself and am not longer laying my back on the wall now and fully standing in front of her

Her tears silently dropped without even blinking; she stopped in front of me and looked into my teary eyes; her lips were trembling; her eyes shifted slowly to the emergency room and she dizzily looked at it; I looked at her

"He lost a lot of blood …" I whispered with teary eyes; she looked at me again blankly and suddenly she pushed me aside trying to go inside the room but I still managed to catch her

"No! Lay” she said and started pushing me to step aside and let go of her

“L-Lay No …" she said while shouting and crying hard; she was hitting my chest to let go of her; I held her hands tight but she still she was hitting me to release her

"Lay … Ottokae … Lay … No!" her sobs were echoing all over the place and I can clearly hear the guys cries now along with hers; she slipped slowly from my hand as her legs became weak and sat on the floor crying like a baby; I looked up; I could barely hold my tears now

Suddenly the emergency room door opened widely still showing the red light and a nurse came running out of the room panicky heading to somewhere; the place suddenly went silent as we saw how a group of doctors who came running to the room along with the same nurse who left seconds ago and before the door was fully closed all we heard was

"HURRY! WE ARE LOSING HIM!!!"
