Memories 34
Forever and Always : A Promise
They say when we lose someone; that’s when we realize how much the person matters to us. Maybe it was the fact that she was sick earlier that had made him realize of his own true feelings towards her but he couldn’t stop it anymore after. He really did lose her once, her life was at the edge before and he chose to sacrifice the memories for her life; a trade, something to bargain. However, what would he trade this time?
Their memories were so few before but it still meant everything to her and so did it to him. He wouldn’t mind having to repeat or do it allover again just to make her remember who he is and who she is to their heart because they are one piece of puzzle that happens to trail away from the other and waiting to be put back together; they are the pieces of memories waiting to be reunited.
He managed to put the pieces back and not only that; he got her back, the girl he fell in love with. Happiness could last so long until a crack would appear in the pieces; maybe it was never complete after all. When he tried to find the missing piece, he couldn’t because everything was already there, so what was he missing? What was the crack that had led to a huge collision of their relationship?
Did he place a new similar piece that had made them this way? Or has the puzzle always stayed that way because certainly he couldn’t see what was hidden. Puzzle pieces were solid, real, it could be seen but a puzzle in its true form remains confusing and complicated. Life is the real puzzle, you can foresee it; you’ll experience it the second it happens but you would not see it coming.
To her; it was never a puzzle piece because she had known them all along. Aira played with the locket hanged on her neck while her eyes stared away into the scenery beyond her window. Woo Bin left minutes ago and she wouldn’t bother to run after him and bring him back because it was a written fate; she had known this for too long already, it was starting to become unbearable yet she stayed quiet about it because she knows it’s the best way, maybe not knows, but this is the only way she could have think of.
The knob of her door turned and the door opened slowly, Aira didn’t bother to turn to look at the person standing at the door; she could guess who it is. She stayed quiet and so did the person; her eyes never left the window and she stood up, turning around to find exactly the person she had expected. Woo Bin had run to him earlier so why wouldn’t he be here?
