She was sleeping soundly and her hand reaches out without her realizing to feel the empty space next to her. Her face wrinkled a little and she slowly opens her eyes to see Sehun was not beside her; she rubs her eyes and touches her head.

“Good morning Princess.” Sehun stood by the door and smiled

“Why do people keep calling me that?” she clears her dry throat

“Because you’re like one?” Sehun walks up to Aira and hands her a cup of hot coco

“But I haven’t brushed my teeth yet.”

“Are you seriously denying a hot coco?”

She smiled and took the mug “Thank you.”

“Anything for you.” he smiled and the moment turns into silence

“I, wanna talk about the dream I had last night.”

“Sure, what is it?” he sat on the side of the bed and looks at her

“I dreamt of us; talking to each other. It was on a rooftop I think…”

Sehun’s eyes widened “Rooftop?”

“Yes, we were talking about each other. And then all I hear were these words exchanged between some doctors and your voice along with them…”

The surgery… “And?”

“Well, they wanted to send me into the operation theatre.”

So that’s why you screamed don’t “It’s your memories.”

“My memories?”

“It has happened before, it was before you did the surgery.”

“Did anyone force me to do the surgery?”

Sehun took her hand and looked into her eyes “Everyone wanted you to do it but you stood your ground, you didn’t wanna trade your memory for anything; not even your dear life. At the last moment, you out and I was there. I wanted you to do the surgery…”

“And lose my memories just to save me?”

“It’s not ‘just’ to save you, please understand. No one can afford to lose you, you always claim to love everyone who loves you, understand their feelings. Understand mine…” he rubs her knuckles softly

“Thank you.” Aira calmly said

“Because?”

“If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be here right now Sehun.”

“Fate was written than you’d be here and here you are, it’s not because of me.” he assures her

“You love me that much don’t you?”

“And I still love you the same.”

“I don’t know my past self but I love you, whether its lesser or more.”

“That’s enough for me.” Sehun leans in

“No!” his eyes widens in surprise “I haven’t brushed my teeth yet, or shower.” her face turns red

Sehun chuckled at her cute reaction and ruffles her hair “I’ll be in the kitchen then, go take a shower first.” he kisses her hair and shut the door after leaving

The smell of sweet pancakes filled the air of the house; Aira walks towards the kitchen and saw Sehun with a cream coloured sweater and black pants looking as perfect as he always is. He poured the plates of pancakes with maple syrup and placed orange juice next to each plate.

“Is it okay? I don’t know what your maids usually cook for your breakfast.”

“It’s perfect.” Aira
