When Aira woke up, Sehun immediately called out to the doctors; they came rushing in and Sehun could not believe his eyes. So he wasn’t completely mad after all, his dearest had woken up from her beauty sleep and is smiling at him. She is finally awake after a devastating month for him…

Sehun took his time to let everything process into his cluttered mind; he was scared to see her. Aira’s parents arrived when they received a call from the hospital and he could tell Cho Hyun Ju was ultimately happy when her eyes sparkled with joy after seeing Aira.

“How is she?” Sehun asks her parents

“Why don’t you go and ask her yourself?” Mr.Cho smiled

“I… I don’t know sir.”

“Stop with this, you should go and talk to her. I’m sure she’s excited to see you.”

“After what has happened…”

“It was the past, it was an accident, don’t blame yourself for this.” Mrs.Cho holds his shoulder and gave it a light squeeze

“Is she okay?” Sehun got up when he saw Dr.Ahn stepping out

“She’s fine, she needs to rest and eat a lot to recover.” he nods “You know I’m still pissed at you right kid?”

“I know.” Sehun nods again

“But as much as I do, I wouldn’t want Aira to see you this way. You look like a dead corpse nowadays. Eat more, she’s fine now.”

“I’m sorry for what happened.”

“It doesn’t matter, she’s fine and smiling now; you didn’t mean it anyway.” he paused “You should probably go inside.” Dr.Ahn nudges him with a smile

Sehun nervously walks inside Aira’s room, he rubs his arms when he saw her eating the porridge and she looked up when she heard him coming in. What was he supposed to say? Sorry? I miss you? I love you? It was just simply awkward, he didn’t know what to say to her, does she remember him? Does she even wants him here?

“Hi.” she smiled

Oh, how much he missed that smile “Hi.” Sehun said when their eyes met

“I thought you wouldn’t want to see me.” his heart tightened
