He hears faint sounds of footsteps outside, he saw the ceiling and it was all blurred; he opens his eyes and realized he’s on the bed.

“Where’s Aira?!” he sat upright and his back hurts

“Calm down kid; she’s fine.”

“What happened?” Sehun held his head; voice hoarse

“Drink this.” Dr.Ahn passes him a glass of water and he did as told “How long do you think you’ve been out?”

“I don’t know, a few hours?” he clears his dry throat

“It’s actually 10 hours. It’s already 11 in the morning right now.” and he was right; the sun was already shining outside “When was the last time you had proper meal?”

Sehun shrugs “I don’t know.”

“You need to eat properly; you’ve skipped tons of meals and it’s not good, you look like a corpse for God sake.” he eyed Sehun

“It’s just, I’m worried. I can’t even eat anything.”

“You shouldn’t, she’s strong and you know it. Just give her some time and you need to take care of yourself. What would people say if they saw an idol like this over a girl?”

“She’s not just some girl.”

Dr.Ahn was quiet “I know.”

“Gosh…” he chuckles quietly “If someone were to say I’d be this in love with her and how painful it is, I’d be laughing so hard back then.” he snickered

“You can’t predict the future.”

“But what if I could?”

“Would you even wanna see it?” Dr.Ahn glances at him

His gaze fell down “I don’t know.”

“Go and have your once in a lifetime meal; Aira needs you.” he pats Sehun’s back and went out of the room

He’s right, Aira needed him; probably. The food in the hospital was enough to be considered as a 5 start restaurant’s meal so he decided to eat in her room. Sehun walks inside the room and saw Aira was still lying down; exactly the same as he last time saw her.

A light knock was heard “Come in.”

“Your meal.” the nurse came inside

“Yes, put it here.” Sehun motions and she did as told but Sehun didn’t hear her leaving and he turns his head to see the nurse staring at Aira

“You really love her don’t you?”

Sehun looks at Aira and smiled to himself “I guess I do.”

“You should be strong for her, she’s a really strong girl. There’s barely anyone who could survive such an accident or fights sickness.”

“She’s a miracle, she’s my miracle.” Sehun took Aira’s hand and covered it with his own

“I’m sorry if you think I’m some kind of a person who sticks her nose into someone else’s private life but I want to ask you; I notice you’ve been going back and forth here almost every single time and how you didn’t even care when you fell down that night when her heart stopped breathing…” she was the nurse who helped him up “Would you still stay with her if you know that she’s never going to wake up? Ever?”

“She has to wake up and face me someday right? How long can she even stay in this state?” he squeezes Aira’s hand lightly
