EXTRACT FROM CHAPTER 13: GYM MATES :D

YB’s words silenced the room. YB is still looking at DARA straight to her eyes lovingly. DARA’s face was redder than before not from irritation but from giddiness. HEHEHHEHEHE. YB knew how to counter attack with his playfulness. Yes, Maybe he has this playful kid in himself that annoys DARA but a bigger part of him was there not to annoy her but to love her unconditionally… whether unrequited or not.

“DARA starting today you will be having your dance training with YOUNGBAE and as you go on you will shoot your MV ARASSO?” the sweet awkward atmosphere was broken with YG’s voice

“NEH!” she answered.

They continue their meeting for the remaining minutes before they finalize every details of the album….

All eyes are now with CHAERIN as they wait for her answer on GD’s question on why DARA is requested to be at YG’s meeting at the same time that YB is there discussing his soon-to-be-launch album…CHAERIN’S lips are sealed… she is not answering… no… not when she is enjoying the tortured face of the dragon leader. GD is trying to pretend that he is patiently waiting for his DONGSAENG’S answer though the latter is well aware that he is about to burst out flames from too much waiting. BOM’S nose is getting bigger at every second from watching GD’s face… She can definitely see the smokes coming out from his nose and ears… She wanted to pat’s CHAERIN’s back for a job well done…. “KEKEKEKEKEKE…CHAERIN-AH can be CHAEMINATOR sometime… cool…”

“CHAERIN-AH do not do this to your OPPA, NEH? Just tell me if there is any collaboration or just anything that your DARA UNNIE will do in YOUNGBAE’S album, NEH?” GD’s pitiful voice is heard again for the third time…

CHAERIN just stood there snickering at them with a mocking face “EWWW that is so gay oppa”

“ANI… I’m a faithful husband to my wifey OPPA… Ask DARA UNNIE for that matter… MIANHE” CL said with a convincing sad voice… NA-DA… I will not tell on DARA UNNIE… KEKEKEKE

“EWWW CHAE-CAT!!! You just admitted that you are a lesbo!!!” SEUNGRAT’s stupid remark that was bounced back by no other than the BOMINATOR herself

“AND what do you call yourself SEUNGRAT? BIGBANG boys are gays… except for YB!!!”  BOM said while pointing on SEUNGRI’s arms that were “accidentally” looped on GD’s waist

“YB is an exception? Do you want to know how manly I can be NOONA?” TOP just pop out from nowhere beside BOM that bring shivers to the latter

“What are you doing beside me SEUNGHYUN!!! You are scaring me” BOM said while gulping her saliva

“I know that I have the ability to be invisible… but my MANLY-HOOD should not be ignored” TOP retorted back with his smirking y lips (A/N: no debate!!!! TOP OPPA has y lips O_O)

“INVISIBLE? Yeah ok!!! Why don’t you make your presence invisible forever? DARA and you really belong to the outer space!!!” countered by the BOMINATOR

“Why don’t you let me exile you on my previous mother ship so that I will never see your blinding legs!!! It’s a threat to mankind!” TOP said with his oh-so-deep voice

“OH MY GAWD GORILLA!!! You just admitted that you are salivating on my legs!!!” BOMINATOR on the launch!!!!

“TOP OPPA you are ually pre-occupied!!!” CHAERIN said while blocking MINZY’S ears from hearing those RPG words

“YAH CHAE-CAT you are just green-minded!!!” SEUNGRI said trying to defend his now flustered HYUNG

“I might be green-minded but at least I’m not stupid-minded like you RAT!!!” a witty retort from the 2NE1 leader

JIYONG’S anger is rising every 0.5 second watching his HOOBAES and s debating for stupid reasons… And when he can’t take it anymore….

“YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! ASBKDGKGFKSGFOHFONCFHAHFOSHOAHFOAHFHFJLAH” The four stupid debaters plus the innocent MAKNAE turns to GD’S direction as his helpless angry voice filled the whole room

“Why the F#CK are you shouting there JIYONG?” asked by the not so annoyed BOMINATOR followed by the nodding of the other three heads

“Why? Why? You are asking me why?” GD said while exaggeratingly flailing his hands to the air

“No she is not asking you why!!!” TOP said with a face palm

“OH MY GAWD!!!!!! Did you just face palmed me HYUNG?” GD said while pointing an accusing finger at TOP

“No… He did not!!! WTF is your problem JI?” BOM shouted again, really annoyed now

“YOUAREASKINGMEWHATISMYPROBLEM…WHENINFACT,YOUALLKNOWTHATIWASDYINGHEREWAITING

FORCL’SANSWERSINCEGODKNOWSWHEN!!!!!” GD bursts out without even breathing

“OH” BOM said realizing the reason of his outburst… He really wanted to know huh… HEHE

“Take it easy man… DARA would just be YOUNGBAE’S leading lady on INAG for the MV” TOP said in a calm voice while smiling

“OH she will just be YB’s leading lady... I see…” GD said while nodding his head

GD runs to TOP as he mercilessly shakes the latter’s shoulders

“WTF!!!! Leading lady? As in leading lady!!!” GD said half yelling as he realizes what TOP had said

“YES as in leading lady…and stop shaking me… my HOT BODY can’t take it anymore” TOP said still smiling to the younger guy

GD’S arms limply made their way on his sides while his head bowed down much to the others stupefied faces to his mood swings

“Are you sure about that TOP? I mean TOP HYUNG?” SEUNGRI said while caressing GD’S back to calm him down

“YEAH… TOKKI told me earlier…” TOP said eyeing their sulking (again) leader

“Who’s TOKKI? Don’t tell me that was your nickname for DARA… and she already had a nickname for you right? TABI if I can remember?” BOM said hoping to bring back the loud JIYONG but NA-DA… no response… his silence is becoming deafening to them

Hoping to revive his favorite HYUNG, SEUNGRI said with a stupid grin in his face…”BUT JI is cuter than TABI”

“But we all call him like that” TOP said with a y smirk on his lips

“STOP it TOP… you are adding insult to the injury” BOM said whispering to TOP…

TOP just shrugs her off…Well BOM wanted to comfort her other best friend (GD) She can feel that GD is in pain right now…She never knew that GD would be hurt just because of an MV…She was assured once again that GD is serious about his feelings for her best friend (D)… Her heart smiles for the both of them

“TABI? EWWW!!!!” SEUNGRI butted in again

“But I like it… It’s special…” he said again with a giddy grin

“TABI just sounds GAY!!!” SEUNGRI said again with an exclamation point

TOP was about to retort back when GD turned his back away from them, heading to the door

“Stop it SEUNGRI…Let’s go… “GD said, still with his head bowed down

“But HYUNG!”

“I’m leaving…” GD said with finality in his voice… BOM, sensing that GD is seriously down right now shooed SEUNGRI to follow him in their dorm while the four of them headed toward their own dorms…

What will you do now JI? Will you surprise me once again or sulk there forever? Are you worthy of her… prove it to me again, enough for me to hand over to you the “protector’s job”…  BOM said to herself as she watched GD’s retreating back from the corridor.

SEUNGRI’S vision is now swirling around as he watched his favorite HYUNG pacing back and front in their living room. GD is doing it for 2 hours now after the discussion they had with the girls at the practice room. GD is obviously thinking of ways to sabotage the MV and SEUNGRI is sure that all of those are to obliterate his YOUNGBAE HYUNG… And boy he was so right…

Should I kidnap YOUNGBAE and throw his body to TRALALA land?ANI… that’s so far fetch

Should I just kill him and end his miseries? No JIYONG, you’ll be in jail… and that means no sweet moments with your DARA… so scratch that…

Oh yeah! Oh yeah!!! I’ll make him bald!!! YEY!!! But no… He’s still handsome even if I do that

I’ll just shred those music sheets!!! Yes that’s it!!! WTF!!! I just sounded so desperate…but I am desperate right? right?His train of thoughts was cut-off by his irritating rat

“HYUNG stop twirling around while mumbling incoherent words to your self please? You are scaring the out of me!!!” SEUNGRI shouted when he can’t take it anymore

GD’S face darkened while his head slowly but dangerously turned to his direction (imagine the scene in the movie exorcist KEKEKEKKEKE). SEUNGRI gulped down as GD made his way in front of him. GD grab him on both of his shoulders as the MAKNAE shuts his eyes, afraid that he will meet the reaper himself if he even dared to peek on GD’S face right now.

“HYUNG please don’t hurt me…” SEUNGRI said while fearing for his own life

“How dare you in again with that stupid mouth of yours when I’m in the process of brainstorming with my smart brain on how to kill YOUNGBAE huh?” GD said with his dangerous low tone

“HYUNG don’t think of those stupid things…” SEUNGRI carelessly said but regretted it as he feels GD’s eyes are turning to slits right from the moment he opened his stupid mouth to retaliate YOU ARE A MORON SEUNGRI… YEAH I’M A MORON AND THIS MORON WILL DIE RIGHT NOW…

“Well I am stupid… so If I am stupid… Then please advice me your highness on what to do right now… Pretty please!!! SEUNGRI tell me what to do now!!! I’m dying of jealousy here!!! Laugh at me later, but squeeze your witty brain right now to save me…”  GD said… his desperate tone did not escape SEUNGRI’S ears, he decided to open his eyes. Oh GAWD he wanted to laugh right now… seeing GD’S pouting face with his teary eyes. He wanted to take a picture of him right now for future blackmailing purposes but his conscience did not let him win.

“AHEM… Why don’t you use your friendship with YB as a front… Though it will be evil… but you know…It will be worth it… it’s like hitting…” SEUNGRI’S sentence is cut-off as JIYONG envelops him in a tight embrace… yeah too tight that he can’t even breath…

“Two birds in one stone!!! You are really bright my rat” GD jumps up and down while hugging SEUNGRI in the process, he was about to lunge on SEUNGRI’S lips if not for the latter fast reflex in blocking his lips with his hand…

“Please HYUNG save my precious lips for now...” SEUNGRI pleaded and for the first time GD just obediently nodded his head and freed SEUNGRI from his grasp while half jumping and half running to his room

DARA NOONA what have you done? SEUNRGRI asks to himself as he boyishly smiles to the sight of his jumpy HYUNG

GD locked himself up in his room as he dials a number

“YEOBOSEYO?”

“YEOBOSEYO HYUNG…” GD is raking his hair as he search for words to say

“NEH JI?”

“UMMM… I’ve heard that YOUNGBAE is about to film his MV for INAG?”

“NEH” the man from the other line is smiling while impatiently waiting for his reply

“UMMM I would like to do something for YOUNGBAE…” JIYONG is biting his lips anticipating for his reply

“Something” YG is trying his best not to laugh at JIYONG’S nervous voice… for YOUNGBAE huh?

“Yeah… a little… I’d like to contribute” Oh please HYUNG your one word reply is not helping at all… GD is furiously wiping the sweats that were forming on his forehead

“Contribute?” I love torturing you DRAGON… payback time for planning to do a disappearing act on me before… HOHOHOHOHO

“Yeah… What about a rap part on INAG, NEH?” GD is biting his nails right now, dying of nervousness… He doesn’t know why… but he was nervous as hell…

“rap?”  YG said smiling to himself… how patient can you get?

“Yeah, A rap part… and I can help YB to increase his album sales right? a featuring…” GD said while trying his best not to shout at the other line

“I think YB’S fame can do that much, NEH?” YG is loving the sharp intake of breath that is coming from GD from the other line

“Never mind the sales… but I wanted to be part of his album, we are best of friends after all” well it’s true he wanted to be part of it since his best friend is taking up another milestone of his life… his intentions are real though it was not all of it…

“You want to be part of it? Are you sure?” YG smiled satisfied to himself

“Yeah I want to…” very much…

“I’ll agree to it but on two conditions…”

“What is it? Any conditions will do…”

“You are not allowed to take part in any editing of the scenes in the MV, all you need to do is do your part and watch every scene in the MV with wide eyes, but I repeat… You are not allowed to give instructions nor you are allowed to disagree to any of it… deal or no deal?” YG said as his eyes glistens with victory

This sounds weird… Watch the MV with wide eyes?

“You mean I’ll be there watching all the making of the scenes of the MV? Just like that?” GD said… still doubting the weirdness of YG’S conditions

“Yeah just like that, It is easy NEH?”

“Yeah It’s easy” and at the same time weird

“so your answer?”

“DEAL” GD said with a great conviction in his voice

“DEAL is on” YG smiled evilly receiving his reply then ended their conversation

“Yeah I’ll give up my ring for the mean time… I’ll give up my ring for now DARA-AH… I’ll just let you to be with him for the mean time… Never take it as if I’m ok seeing you with another man… You should know that I’m dying here just imagining on how the MV will take place… but I’ll be there to support you both… I’ll go anywhere you’ll go DARA-AH… for YB and for you… I’ll go this far my butterfly…”GD said to himself as he scribbles the rap part that he will contribute for INAG

The next day in the practice room…

After grueling hours of dance training, YB and DARA had their break for the first time in that day. YB took a seat beside DARA and offered her a drink, which the latter gratefully received.  They chat about the practice until DARA decided to close her eyes to relax…It was already 9 pm…She wanted to lay to her bed…The other crews left them alone…

YB took that chance to study her innocent face, her long lashes and pink lovely lips. He wanted to own her as his possession and he knows even if she was the only possession he would ever have, he would forever live happily by her side. Just thinking that he might loose her brings a pinch in his heart… He would never let her go…

YB was drowned into his own world that he did not realized that DARA was now looking at him in wonder…

“YOUNGBAE-AH, is there anything on my face perhaps?” she said startling YB who is now beet red from blushing madly…

I was caught… WTF… Did I scare her? Oh you are really a PABO…

“BAE BAE… are you alright? It seems you are getting redder? Are you not feeling well?”

YOUNGBAE gathered all his strength and flash his boyish smile…

“ANIYO DARA-AH… I’m ok… I’m just wondering if you also wanted some music while relaxing... here…” YB said while attaching the other earphone on DARA’S left ears…She blushed, he smiled… They listened together to the music as another song was played…

“OH BAE BAE… this is your wedding dress NEH? I really like your voice here…” DARA said hearing the song

“NEH…”

DARA was humming to the song as YB closes his eyes, drowned into his own lyrics…

YB unconsciously reached for DARA’S left hand… She was surprised but let him be…She felt herself flushed from his actions…

“BAE-AH” a faint protest from her but she was not heard

Baby, don’t take his hand when he comes to you

Coz you should be my lady

I’ve been waiting for you for so long

Look at me now

His grip tightened on DARA’S hand… DARA seeing the slight wrinkling on his forehead and feeling that she needed to comfort him bring her other hand to hold their joined hands, assuring him it will be okay… YB unconsciously smiles from her assuring touch…

When the music starts

How I prayed every night

No… DARA-AH… I will never be singing this song for us… I’ll never let you go… not now… not forever… and not for my best friend… Call me selfish but you are the only one that I’m longing for… I was never selfish for other things… But with you, I will be…Take all that I have from me… My Music, My talent… everything… Just let me have you forever… You are my inspiration… girl you are my superstar and I am your biggest fan…

DARA was intently watching his face… afraid that she would miss out any emotions that he would display…It amuses her watching his face turn to different emotions… For the first time in their years of friendship, she appreciates the warmth of this man’s beauty in front of her…

Please be happy with him

Please forget how miserable I looked

It’s going to be unbearably hard for me

For a long while to come

As the lyrics lingered on his senses… his heart felt an excruciating pain…It’s as if it was happening to him… A tear escaped from his eyes that was not left unnoticed by the girl who is watching him silently… a surge of fear envelops his whole being as he began to realize that DARA was not yet his… and he might loose her if he would fail to let her know his feelings for her… he might lose without even putting up a fight…

DARA held his face as to wipe the tears that were continuously falling from YOUNGBAE’S eyes… Her touches reached his unconsciousness that let him open his eyes away from his daze mind but not away from all the insecurities and fear that he felt that was reflected on his eyes. DARA held her gaze on him and she could feel that he was lost and in pain... and for every pain that his eyes reflects is equally reciprocated by the involuntarily aching of her heart.

“Why are you crying BAE-AH? Is there something wrong?” DARA half pleadingly asked him

YOUNGBAE held her hand that was caressing his face as the pair of earphone dropped on the floor…

“DARA-AH SARANGHE...I love you NOONA…I need a girl like you to complete my life… You are everything I hope for…”  YOUNGBAE let all those sincere words flew out of his mouth for the first time… for the first time he voiced out what he wanted… what he was living for… He let those words flow out along with his long hidden feelings for his beloved girl…

DARA gasped and let her free hand cover her surprised lips… She was half expecting it to happen… to YOUNGBAE to bring it up again… but not to support his previous confession but to only assure her that it was after all a prank that he played on her… But she was totally wrong… There he was… crying his heart out while confessing his feelings for her as if saying those words will bring salvation to his soul and she was not prepared… This is not what she expected… Her practiced witty retorts to his supposedly prank-confession is not applicable…She was lost for words…

She blinked once…twice hoping that the face of the man in front of him will disappear… Hoping that she would see his bright smiling face once again… and to complete her hopes… she touches his freehand along with her hand that was formerly covering her lips…But he remains in there, waiting for her answer… hoping that she will be his…

YOUNGBAE sensing her confusion brought her to his arms… enveloping her on his warming embrace… assuring her once again that everything is real and everything will be fine…

“Don’t pressure yourself DARA-AH… You don’t need to answer right now…”

He snuggled in her neck… memorizing her warmth... as she rests her chin on his shoulders hoping that along with her head, her heart would rest from all the confusion she was feeling at the moment…

“I’ll wait for you…” he said as he kissed her forehead and help themselves to get up and silently walks away from the place where he voices out his feelings for her… away from the place that he pour out everything… away from all of it… but not away from all the feelings and emotions that night bring them… and not away from the pair of eyes that were watching them in darkness from the glass door that separates the other half room from the other where the of them were in…

That night was unbearable for the three persons in that scene…The confessor, the lady and the witness… All of them find it hard to be in their dream land as the uttered words, expressed feelings and replayed scenes hunt them down away from their deep slumber…
