You rested as you watched the rain hit against the window.

"How are you feeling?" L asked as he came towards you laying next to you

You turned your head to him, "Head still hurts.. And.."

"And?" He questioned

You looked away from him and shrugged, "Nothing. Sounds stupid."

"Tell me please." He asked sweetly

"I just feel like I'm missing something." You looked at him once again, "but I don't know what."

He wrapped an arm around your waist pulling you close, "I bet it's nothing, just a feeling you have right."

You nodded.

He kissed the top of your head, "You'll be fine. I'm here now. I won't go anywhere and let anyone take you away."

You looked up at him furrowing your brows, "why are you sweet on me?"

He poked your nose, "I just had a dream where I lost you and I couldn't figure how to get you back."

"If anything happens to you I don't know what I'd do with myself. I need you back." A voice came through your mind

You propped yourself on your arm and looked around, "what is it Skye?" L asked

You listened around you and heard nothing.

"Did you hear that?" You looked down at L

"Hear what?"

"Come back, find your way back. I know you can do it." The voice said again

"There did you hear that?" You said quickly

L sat up looking around. He went to the door peeking his head out, "Hear what?" He asked again

"That voice." You said

L looked back at you, "What voice? We're the only ones here. No TV is on, no radio is playing. What are you hearing?"

"Don't trust them. I'll come for you. Just stay strong."

You didn't know why but you felt like you could trust this voice.

"Skye.."

You shook your head, "Nothing.. I guess I was just being weird.." You said quietly and let out a smile

L nodded, "Let's get you out of the house. Maybe fresh air will do you good!"

You nodded.

L walked close to you as he held the umbrella over the two of you. You walked quickly next to him, listening to the rain pitter patter against the umbrella.

"What's on your mind?" L asked slipping his hand into yours

You shook your head, "Nothing."

He stopped your and spun you around to face him. You tilted your head up looking up at him with wide eyes, "Hmm?"

As L was about to say something, you heard laughter. You spun your head towards the sounds and saw a couple running through the rain. As they came closer to you they began to change, look like you and someone else running with you.

"Whoever gets home first gets to cook dinner!" He laughed

"Yah, you're faster than me! Not fair!"

"Skye!" L interrupted your thoughts

You snapped out of it and the couple changed back to themselves. You tugged onto L's hand, "Let's go!" You smiled

"I'm not losing you this time."

"I won't let them hurt you."
