A few days went by and you've been geeting to know some of the friendlier wolves. The others you stayed away from, afraid that you might burden them more with you being there.

You explored the place and what shocked you the most was how this place began to look more like a home then a cave.

You walked down a hall and found a room with the door slightly opened. You peeked inside and it looked like a study area. You pushed the door open and saw Kris looking up at you.

You tensened up and bowed "Sorry.. I didn't know --- Just sorry." You turned to leave the room and you bumped into someone

"Ow!" You rubbed your forehead

"You need to look where you're going!" Someone chuckled

You looked up to see Lay.

"Sorry.. I --"

"You know you've been saying sorry a lot lately, you need to stop!" He smiled showing off his dimples

You nodded "Sor-- I mean okay."

You began to walk off. Lay looked into the study to see Kris with his head lowered in his hands. Lay looked at your figure walking off, "Skye!" He called out and walked after you

You looked back and waited for Lay to catch up.

"Hmm?" 

"Are you still feeling sick?" He asked

You shook your head, "Not so much. Still get dizzy every once in a while."

He nodded, "Come with me, I want to show you something." He said and started to walk off

You furrowed your brows and followed after him. The two of you came to what looked like an enterance of a home. He opened the door and you were astound by what was beyond the door.

Sun shone through the top of and opening of the caving lighting up the water below. You stepped outside and it looked magically, it's something you've never seen before.

"It beautiful right?" Lay asked

You nodded. He stood next to you, "Why are you showing me this?" You asked

He shrugged, "because I thought you might wanted to get a change of scenery."

You lowered your eyes, "Why are you all-- some of you so nice to me? You're stuck babysitting me."

Lay looked down at you, "It's not so bad, atleast you don't cry and need to be changed!"

"Hey!" You hit his arm lightly

The two of you let out a laugh. You had this flash of the first day you incountered the wolves and your smile faded away.

"Skye, are you--"

"Why did you kill that man?" You blurrted

Lay raised a brow "What man?"

"That day D.O brought me back here. I know.. Or maybe you weren't with them, but why did you kill that man?" You asked

Lay thought about it for a moment and it clicked in his head, "Oh.. Right, that was a hunter. Don't think of us as murderous beings, we aren't. Just only when it comes to--" He paused because finishing that sentence made him sound like a murderous being

You nodded, "I get it. Just protecting yourselves right?"

He nodded.
