“Hey Jimin, get up.” A voice whispered, stirring Jimin awake. Jimin groaned in annoyance, “What time is it?” He asked while rubbing his eyes. “It’s 5 in the morning, now get up.” The voice answered, nudging Jimin out of his bed. Jimin finally peek his eyes open to see Jin smiling at him. Jimin groaned and pulled the covers over his head, “Let me sleep.” Jimin pleaded, closing his eyes again. “Come on Jimin, you need to wake up. You need to help us with something.” Another voice pitched in, pulling the covers off of Jimin harshly. Jimin turned around to see Suga with his covers in his hands. Jimin glared at him and threw a pillow at his face before turning back onto his side. “Aishi, fine don’t help us, we’ll just get Hoseok.” Suga spat harshly before throwing the covers at Jimin. “Why didn’t you just ask him in the first place?” Jimin said under his breath, annoyed that his hyungs woke him up so early for no reason. Once he heard his door close shut, Jimin flutter his eyes shut and went back to sleep.

When Jimin finally stirred again, he glanced over at the clock to see that it was already 2 in the afternoon. He groaned before rolling onto his back. To his luck, they didn’t have practice today so he just lazed in his bed for a while. He stared up at the ceiling, “Why did Jin and Suga hyung wake me up earlier?” Jimin asked himself out loud. He scratched the back of his head, staring at the ceiling intensely, trying to figure out what his hyungs were up to. He sighed, “Forget it.” He rolled out of bed and shuffled into the living room where he saw Jeongkuk and TaeHyung snuggling on the couch. Jimin immediately sobered up and gritted his teeth. His hands were clenched into tight fists. “So Jeongkuk, I guess it’s just you and me today. Everyone left us, again.” TaeHyung said with a sly smirk, making Jimin clench his fists even tighter. “I guess so.” Jeongkuk giggled. Jimin watched them and saw TaeHyung lean his lips closer to Jeongkuk’s. Jimin’s eyes shot wide open and he needed to act quickly. “Good morning.” Jimin interrupted, faking a yawn. Startled, Jeongkuk quickly pushed himself off of TaeHyung and chuckled nervously, “Hey hyung.” Jeongkuk answered awkwardly. Jimin peek his eyes over at TaeHyung who was pouting at the lost contact with Jeongkuk. Jimin smirked to himself, mentally congratulating himself for his ingenious plan. Jimin plopped next to Jeongkuk and s an arm around Jeongkuk’s shoulder, “How’d you sleep maknae?” Jimin asked, eying TaeHyung, trying to evoke a reaction. Jimin saw from the corner of his eyes that TaeHyung was glaring at him, his eyebrows furrowed. “I slept well.” Jeongkuk answered, oblivious of his hyungs. Jimin turned his attention back to Jeongkuk, “That’s good.” He said before pulling Jeongkuk closer to him, nuzzling his head in the maknae’s neck. TaeHyung immediately stood up, “Jimin, let’s go make some lunch.” TaeHyung said calmly through gritted teeth, pulling Jimin off of Jeongkuk. “Ok.” Jimin chuckled as TaeHyung pulled him into the kitchen. Jimin couldn’t help but enjoy the rivalry. “What should we make?” Jimin asked innocently while rummaging through the fridge. TaeHyung just stood there and glared at him, grinding his teeth. Jimin looked up and noticed that TaeHyung was angry. Jimin smirked, “Hey, what’s wrong TaeHyung?” Jimin asked while leaning on the fridge door. TaeHyung opened his mouth but quickly shut it. He wanted to tell Jimin to keep his hands off of his boyfriend but he remembered promising Jeongkuk that they wouldn’t tell Jimin or Hoseok. TaeHyung sighed heavily, “Nothing.” He said under his breath. “Are you sure it’s nothing?” Jimin asked, smiling deviously at TaeHyung. “Just drop it.” TaeHyung snapped, catching Jimin a little off guard. He never seen TaeHyung this worked up before so it kind of scared him. He stared at him with wide eyes before muttering a soft ‘sorry’.

The kitchen was uncomfortably quiet before Jeongkuk entered. “Hey hyung, you got a message from Hoseok hyung.” Jeongkuk chirped while handing the phone to TaeHyung, who seemed to have calmed down a little bit. TaeHyung nodded  thanks before taking his phone. Jimin was stilled frozen in place with the fridge door still open. “Find something to eat?” Jeongkuk asked, snapping Jimin out of his daze. “Uh, no.” Jimin muttered before looking back in the fridge. Jimin felt Jeongkuk peek his head over Jimin’s shoulder, “Aishi hyung, look at all the food we have.” Jeongkuk said, slapping Jimin on the back, making Jimin chuckle nervously, “I forgot to put my contacts on.” Jeongkuk laughed and grabbed some yogurt out of the fridge. Jeongkuk leaned over Jimin, reaching inside the fridge. Jimin could feel Jeongkuk’s face right next to his and his breath hitched. His heart started to race and butterflies flutter in his stomach. He looked down, trying to hide the growing blush. When Jeongkuk got his yogurt and got off of Jimin, Jimin couldn’t help but pout at the lost contact. He thanked the fridge’s cold nature for helping cool down his red hot face. He let out a breath. He closed the fridge door and turned around to see Jeongkuk sitting on the counter eating his yogurt and TaeHyung texting Hoseok back. Jimin went and joined Jeongkuk. “So what was the text from Hoseok hyung about?” Jeongkuk asked before eating another spoonful of yogurt. TaeHyung shrugged, “He said to come to the practice later tonight at around 5.” Jimin looked at TaeHyung confused, “Why?” Jeongkuk asked. TaeHyung just shrugged before his phone beeped. Jimin and Jeongkuk leaned closer to TaeHyung, trying to read the text message. “What does it say?” Jeongkuk asked. “Jimin, Hoseok wants you to pick up your phone.” Jimin looked confused but obliged, “Uhm ok.” Jimin said before going into his room to get his phone. He checked and it said that he had several miss calls from Jin and Suga. He rolled his eyes and called Suga back. “Hello?” Suga answered. “Hyung, why’d you call?” Jimin asked. “Jimin ah why were you not answering your phone?” Suga nagged, causing Jimin to roll his eyes, “Quit nagging and just answer the question.” Jimin snapped. “Right, can you come to the practice room right now?” Suga asked. Jimin looked at his phone weird and then put it back against his ear, “Right now?” Jimin asked. “Yeah, or as soon as possible.” Suga said before hanging up the phone. Jimin rolled his eyes and got ready.

“Hey, guys I’m going out.” Jimin said, leaving the apartment before TaeHyung and Jeongkuk could say anything. Jimin got to the practice room in no time. He opened the door to see their practice room decorated. “Hyung, what is all this?” Jimin asked, interrupting the other boys from decorating. “Oh thank god you’re here,” Jin said before handing Jimin some money, “Can you go with Hoseok to go buy some cake and candles?” Jin asked. Before Jimin could answer, Jin already left to fetch Hoseok. Jin came back, dragging Hoseok, “Ok, go buy the cake and hurry back because we aren’t done with decorating yet.” Jin said frantically, pushing the two towards the door. “What is it for?” Jimin asked. “No time, I’ll explain later.” Jin said before shutting the door shut in their face. Jimin looked at Hoseok who smiled back at him with bright pink cheeks. Jimin just shook his head and headed towards the bakery. “Hey wait up!” Hoseok called after him.
