She gulped before she spoke again. "Where should I meet you?" She asked.

"She disappeared on a corner of Myeongdong. It like just happened." Seungyub informed her.

"What's the timeline?" 

"30 minutes ago." He answered.

"On my way." Hana said, hanging up the phone and grabbing her jacket to head out to the location. She stopped in the coffee shop for a quick latte before busing it to Myeongdong.

After the bus ride, she walked around when she notice a blonde guy pacing around Seungyub. She approached them and looked at Seungyub, "So what happened?" She asked.

The blonde guy turned to her and glared, "You wasted time getting coffee before coming?! Gayoon is missing and she's been missing for an hour now." He yelled at her.

Hana opened to answer when Seungyub stopped her, "I will have you know that Hana only sleeps for two hours at a time. So while you could be sleeping right now, she would be working on the case. If you don't want her help, then that's fine we will leave. But don't you dare question her ethics." He said sternly to the client and the blonde guy immediately shut up.

"Okay, so her name is Gayoon. What's yours?" Hana asked. He had finally calmed down and sat on the edge of the bench nearby.

"Yoseob. Yang Yoseob. Junior at Treble Square Conservatory, as is my girlfriend." He answered her.

"Facts about her please." Hana asked as she took out her notebook and pen. She sat next to him on the bench and smiled, patiently waiting.

"She is the top of her class, she is practicing vocally as well as music theory. But she wants to learn how to compose her own songs and perform live." Yoseob explained.

"Does she happen to be one of those girls that all the guys want to get together with?" Hana asked plainly.

"She's mine." Yoseob answered defensively. "What kind of question is that?" He demanded.

"There is a pattern amongst the girls who have gone missing is that she is the prettiest girl in the school she attends and everyone wants to be her friend or with her or whatever." Hana replied calmly. She was already used to all of this, people always got defensive when she asked the wrong questions even when it pertained to the case.

Yoseob opened his mouth to speak before shutting it again. He tried again once more and sound managed to come out, "So she was taken because she was pretty?" He asked her.

"That seems to be the case with all the missing girls. What was the scent she smelled and where did you lose her?" Hana asked him as she stood up, "Show me where."

He led her to his car which had been parked around the corner, nearby a dark alleyway. "You lost her here?" Hana asked.

"Yeah, I had turned around for one second to look for my car keys in my pockets and she was gone. She told me she could smell lilacs. She always loved those.." Yoseob said, his voice drifting off as he thought of his girlfriend nostalgically.

"Lilacs. Okay, thank you for that. So an hour ago, she disappeared from right here when you were getting your car keys and she smelled lilacs. I am going to need you to follow Seungyub for some follow-up questions," She turned to the boy and gave him a nod which he returned, "And I will do some more snooping."

He looked to her in all seriousness, "Please find her. And bring her back to me." He said.

Hana looked right back at him, "I will." 

He nodded before going to Seungyub and allowing him to lead the way. She had planned that with Seungyub a long time ago. Whenever witnesses got too intense or too involved, then they would need to be taken for some drinks.

It would be under the pretense of more follow-up questions but that would never happen. She knew all she needed to know just from the questions she had answered earlier. She looked around the area and already deduced how she had left Yoseob.

The lure was towards the dark alleyway and from there she had disappeared. The question was why? Why did the guy need another girl so soon? He had taken Yoona barely three days ago, he usually didn't need another one for a full week.

But this was different, it was so soon for him to take another, even with the double weeks, this was too close together. She couldn't pinpoint why though. 

She sighed softly as she shook her head. She would just have to go back to her apartment and tape her new info to her wall while she mused over the notes. There was nothing else for her to see there.

Heading back quickly so she could make sure everything she wrote down was still fresh, she got back to her apartment. She added more to the big red question mark on the wall and started to pace.

She was missing something, she just knew it. She needed that little piece, that little something to be able to kickstart her brain into finding the culprit. She just didn't have it.

Her cell phone vibrated on the table and she picked up within three rings, "Hello?"

"He's passed out on his bed, just like you asked." Seungyub said.

"Good, because this case just got even more complicated." Hana replied.

"Tell me about it, since when did he go for girls in serious relationships? Or girls so soon after another?" He told her.

"I know. I just need something more. I need that little piece to figure this all out." She said in frustration.

"It'll come." Seungyub assured her, "Just hope it doesn't come in the form of a body."

"I doubt that. I just want something to go on." She bit her thumb in anxiousness.

"Get some rest, Hana. I know I interrupted your two-hour power nap earlier. Maybe then something will come to you." He advised.

"Okay, see you tomorrow, Seungyub." She said, hanging out the phone and throwing it elsewhere. She dropped onto her couch as she got ready for two more hours of rest.

Maybe her subconscious could figure out the truth. After all, she had promised Yoseob she would find his girlfriend. And that was a promise she intended to keep.
