Chapter 12 -- The Truth
Monsters: The Mousetrap
Hyosung screamed as she was shown the world, how that one girl had discovered her secret. How could she have known? No one had managed to find that book, ever. Not once in her years, she was already almost 50 but looked like she was 21.
In 30 years, no one had found it. And this girl just went to the library and beelined for it. She had to know where it was. She had to have been tipped off by someone. But her benefactor wouldn’t have betrayed. Would she?
She wanted this to happen. She let Hyosung take over like this, she gave her this strength, why would she betray that bond?
Hyosung shook her head, no, that was not who betrayed her. It had to be someone else. Someone who knew.
“KIKI!” She shouted for her beast. He trudged into her room that she kept down there. Water didn’t drip through the pipes as much and she stayed there to recover after she used the magic.
He grunted in response to her, his eyes gave her a harsh, defiant look. She hated it when he did that.
“You! Have you been telling anyone anything while you’re up there?” She asked him.
He rolled his eyes at here, pointing at his mouth. She learned to read him quite well at this point, since they had spent 30 years working together. Just as much as she kept young, he was young too.
“I know you can’t speak, you idiot. But I know you can write.” She snapped at him, “Have you been writing letters to anyone?”
His shoulders went up and down like in a sigh. This questions were ridiculous to him. He had no reason to be telling people anything. He didn’t even know who to tell. He didn’t know who would save him either.
“I’ll take that as a no.” Hyosung said, “Then who on Earth is telling this girl my secret?” She pointed at the screen. She managed to get the whole world in the palm of her hand, enlarged by her projector.
Kiki looked at the screen, he got a good look. In the back of his mind, he smirked, but he couldn’t show Hyosung that emotion. That would be the girl. She would save him, he just knew it. He didn’t know how but he knew it.
“You know what? I found an easy way to solve this.” Hyosung clapped her hands together excitedly. “You,” She pointed at Kiki, “Will help me get rid of her.”
His eyes widened at the thought, the sliver of hope that he was just given was about to slip away. He knew that Hyosung wouldn’t let anything happen to him. He should have known better than to be wishful.
“Heh. You thought she could save you didn’t you, Kiki?” She his chest. “You wish. There’s no way she’s your true love. I’m your true love. You just need to accept it in order to get out of your monstrous body.” She told him.
The hair on the back of his neck stood up as she continued to caress him. He hated how she had so much control, why did he let this happen to himself?
“Besides, Kiki, who would want you after you kidnapped all those women? They’re still angry at you, you know?” Hyosung smirked.
“Only I could love you now.”

He walked back to the room since she had called him. The moment he walked in, he felt the anger roll off in waves from her body.
“You cheated.” She told him.
“No I didn’t.” He replied.
“Then who called her this morning?” She asked him.
“I don’t know. Why don’t you ask my older brother?” The young boy said.
“You. Where is he?” She glared at him.
“Gone for now. He had to deal with something, I’m sure he’ll be back though,” He replied, before flipping his hair behind his shoulder.
She rolled her eyes at him, “I swear you were supposed to be born a girl.” She remarked.
“Yeah, well I would have been prettier than you, now wouldn’t I? The world couldn’t handle me as a girl.” He said cockily.
“You’re really weird, you know.” She told him. “Like really weird, for a guy.”
“I’ll take that as a compliment, bye bye, Noona.” He waved goodbye to her before taking his leave.
“Send your brother back here.” She said.
“I’ll think about it."

School is done ^^ It's summer!
i start summer school in a week but I should be okay.
