Roommates

When Himchan woke the next morning he smiled warmly at the woman snuggled in his arms.  His wife, she was his wife.  How had he gone from being single, to being considered gay, to being a happily married man?  He didn’t care, he was the happiest man alive right now and last night was the best night of his life.

She shifted in his arms and he watched as she stretched and then nuzzled back against him with her head cradled in the crook of his shoulder, her cheek pressed against his chest.  Her hand slid up his torso and rested over his heart.  He intertwined his fingers with hers and brought them to his lips, kissing her knuckles.

“I love you.”  He whispered softly.

“I love you too.”  She sighed, opening her eyes and staring up at him.  “I think I’ve lost count now of how many times you’ve told me that.”  She said with a smile.

“You’re going to hear me say it everyday for the rest of your life, so you might as well give up on trying to keep track.”  He said as he shifted so that they were both lying on their sides facing each other.  “It’s something I will never grow tired of saying.”

Sunhee smiled.  “You certainly know how to make a girl feel special.”

He pulled her to him and started planting little kisses all over her pretty face.  “That’s because you are special.  You’re my special girl.”  He kissed her and relished in the feeling of her body against his; they fit together so perfectly it was like they were made for each other.  He tried to make the kiss into something more but she nudged him away, giggling.

“Oppa, we have to get ready for work or we’re going to be late.”  Sunhee chuckled as she tried vainly to escape from the force that was Kim Himchan.

“Hm,” He hummed along her skin as he nuzzled against her neck.  “Then I guess we’ll just have to be late.”

Try as she might, Sunhee ended up losing the battle against him.

Somehow, they both managed to make it to work on time, no thanks to Himchan, he made it nearly impossible to perform even the smallest of tasks with those roaming hands of his; she thought she’d never get dressed that morning.  They planned to meet each other for lunch again, something they would continue to do from now on.

As they sat down together to enjoy a nice lunch, however, three familiar faces suddenly appeared.  Sunhee sighed and Himchan groaned in annoyance as Yoona, Yongnam, and Yongguk joined them.

“How did you even find us?”  Himchan asked, completely flabbergasted.  He’d made it out of his office building like a ninja, there was no way Yoona could have followed him.  And he’d even decided to have lunch at a different place just so he could avoid this very situation.

Yongguk held up his phone.  “Did you forget that I know where you are at all times now?”  He then smiled wickedly.  “It seems someone made it to work way later than usual today.  I wonder why?”

Sunhee turned a deep shade of red and Himchan bared his teeth snarling at Yongguk.  “Bang, I will only give you one warning.  I am this close to wiping that smug look off your face.”  Himchan sat back and folded his arms, glaring at his friend.  “Consider yourself warned.”

“Ah, Channie.  Where’s your sense of humor?”  Yongguk asked.

“He lost it the day he became friends with you.”  Yongnam said shaking his head.  “Honestly, Yongguk, you’ve tormented him since we were kids.  I keep telling you that some day you’re going to push him over the edge, and when you do you’re on your own.  Blood or no, if he ever hits you due to something that came out of your stupid mouth, I’m taking his side.”

Yongguk pretended to be offended.  “Even my own twin would turn his back on me?”  He leaned in close to Yongnam.  “We shared a womb and you would side with him over me?  Low blow bro.”

Yongnam rolled his eyes and put his finger against Yongguk’s forehead, shoving him away with a gentle push.

“So, what’s married life like?”  Yoona asked, changing topics.

“I haven’t even been married a full twenty-four hours.”  Sunhee said shyly.

Yoona just grinned and winked at her.  “I still expect details later.”

“Yah!”  Yongnam exclaimed.  “Does that mean she’s gotten details from you?”

Sunhee shook her head.  “Don’t worry oppa, I refuse to listen when she tries to share those kinds of things with me.  Some things should remain a mystery.”

Yongnam nodded.  “Thank you.”

Yongguk grinned and threw his arm around Himchan.  “So, my Channie is a man now.  Do I at least get details later?”

Himchan just glared at him.

Yongguk looked over at Sunhee.  “I see you’ve worn him out to the point where he’s lost the ability to speak.  Bravo.”

There was a collective gasp when Himchan’s fist suddenly connected with Yongguk’s face, knocking the other man onto the floor.  Everyone stared with wide eyes as Himchan merely shook his hand a couple times before ever so elegantly folding his arms across his chest once more, smiling pleasantly to those at the table.

Yongnam smiled and reached across the table to give Himchan a high-five.  “About time someone put the little punk in his place.”

Yongguk groaned and slowly got up, joining them at the table.  “Sheesh, Channie, I think you broke my nose.”

“Serves you right, I did warn you.”  Himchan smirked.

“Guess I’ll be the better looking one now, huh?”  Yongnam laughed.

“Nah, I’ll always look better than you.”  Yongguk grinned holding his nose.  “Aish.”  He mumbled as he examined his nose gently with his fingers.  He finished his inspection and smiled.  “Nope not broken.”  He then proceeded to tear apart a napkin and stuff strips of it up each nostril, grinning ridiculously at everyone when he was finished.

“Babo, we can’t take you anywhere.”  Yongnam grumbled.

“That’s why he resorts to tracking us with GPS.”  Himchan said dryly.

Everyone cracked up at the hilariousness of the whole situation and fell into comfortable conversation, Yongguk and Himchan returning to normal as if nothing had happened.  Sunhee would never understand men.  They ended up having such a great time together that they all decided to meet for dinner at Sunhee and Himchan’s place that night so they could continue the fun.

Chapter 17: I enjoyed this one....I think this is a quarter of the reason Himchan moved a place up above Yongguk on my list. I have plans myself for this boy, but aw I just enjoyed this story so much. Do I always have to tell you that you have the best writing style for me right now. We need to hurry up and collaborate a massive story together to let the forces of sweet combine in a way that will explode the hearts and minds of fangirls everywhere!!! Now, I'm going back into hiding to figure out what the heck you have going on in Twisted...

I swear that you and thinking about that story made me have that really messed up story about flying on the ceiling last night.

Author-nim you made me so nervous making me think that Himchan was dead, all i can think was, he's not dead, he's not dead but luckily he isn't and while thinking of those words i was predicting at the same time that it was her father and i'm happy i'm right but, Sunhee is really lucky to have husband like him! BTW for the 3rd time great story you made author-nim!!! :)

Chapter 17: Oh my God. I can't stop laughing whenever Yongguk teases Himchan to no end. Hahahaha :))
I almost died at the last chapter cos I thought Himchan died but I suddenly thought, 'eh, wouldn't that ruin the happy ending?' And I let out a sigh of relief when I read that it was actually Sunhee's father. Whew!

Chapter 17: Thanks for the good read, I appreciated it. I admit I was surprised because I thought it's Himchan who died, but I knew you're too soft-hearted to do that to your characters. This isn't a melo, hasn't been one and will not be one. Happy to part with Sunhee and Himchan in good terms :)
