Sleep Talking
KidnappedYongguk woke up to hearing Sunggyu mumbling. He checked his watch and groaned as he saw the time.
3:35 AM
"Sunggyu?" Yongguk asked blearily, leaning back to look at Sunggyu.
"... stink..." Sunggyu mumbled in his sleep. Yongguk stifled a laugh, watching Sunggyu talk in his sleep.
"... breakfast..." Sunggyu continued, making Yongguk curious about what Sunggyu could be dreaming about.
"Feel like... girl..." Sunggyu said, pouting in his sleep. Yongguk snorted at him, immediately covering his mouth in fear that Sunggyu would wake up.
But Sunggyu didn't stir, his face scrunching up in embarrassment.
"Shut up!" Sunggyu said quite loudly, making Yongguk quietly chuckle at his boyfriend.
"... ert... first thing... ..." Sunggyu mumbled, an angry look on his face.
"Entertain... myself... while..." Sunggyu mumbled, Yongguk trying to interpret what Sunggyu was saying. Blushing when a not so innocent thought crossed his mind.
'Bad thoughts!' Yongguk mentally scolded himself, shaking his head to get rid of the dirty thoughts.
"Why... miss... stupid tree..." Sunggyu grumbled, shifting in his sleep. Yongguk smiled at Sunggyu's retort to whoever he was talking to in his dreams.
"Shut up... no... won't..." Sunggyu said, his eyebrows furrowing and shifting again in his sleep.
"Taller... than you..." Sunggyu grumbled. Yongguk chuckled, noting that even though he didn't look like it, Sunggyu wasn't a shorty. He watched as his boyfriend's face would change as he dreamed, as if he were awake.
"Call.... boyfriend... hamster!" Sunggyu growled out, making Yongguk laugh quietly at the sudden outburst.
'Hamsters are cute, though...' Yongguk thought, and whoever Sunggyu was talking to probably had just said that, because Sunggyu squirmed around in his sleep, obviously blushing.
"... mean it?" Sunggyu mumbled, uncertainty laced in his voice. After a silence, a smile graces Sunggyu's face.
"... love you... Woohyun..." Sunggyu mumbled, snuggling deeper into Yongguk's chest. Yongguk smiled softly, returning the hug that wasn't meant for him.
He saw Sunggyu jolt awake and pretended to be sleeping, holding back the urge to wipe away Sunggyu's unshed tears himself. He watched Sunggyu's hand roam around his face, making sure to close his eyes when Sunggyu got to them, before landing on his cheek.
"I'm sorry..." Sunggyu mumbled, "I'm sorry for still loving him..."
Yongguk smiled internally, and though it wasn't a fully happy smile, it was somewhat happy. Even though he was sad that he wasn't Sunggyu's only love, he knew that Sunggyu as trying, and that's all that mattered. Yongguk himself still held a special place in his heart for Himchan, and probably would always have one for his deceased lover. He brought Sunggyu closer to him, still pretending to sleep.
He saw Sunggyu relax in his hug, coming closer to him as he slowly fell back asleep.
Yongguk smiled at the peacefully look on Sunggyu's face, gently kissing the elder on the head.
"I'm fine with waiting." Yongguk said quietly, smiling before going back to sleep himself.
He meant those words, he would wait forever for Sunggyu to forget his old love. He chuckled as he thought how proud Himchan would be with him. Being all kind and understanding.
He sighed, looking up at the white ceiling, tracing imaginary patterns in the tiles, trying to lull himself to sleep. He glanced back down at the man sleeping peaceful besides him. A smile graced his face as he saw Sunggyu breathing peacefully in his sleep.
Yongguk Sunggyu's red hair, and he noted that the black roots were showing.
'He's going to have to fix that soon...' Yongguk mused, bringing a hand up to his own hair. It had grown longer from not being cut, and the color was fading back to its original blackish-brown color.
Yongguk yawned, sleep finally coming to him. He shifted around to get comfortable, bringing Sunggyu closer to him as he fell asleep.
"Night, Gyu."
Hello~~~ So I told you guys that I had a few chapters already written out, right? So I thought that this part was a bit too important to leave out for next week, so I decided to update it now!! I'm pretty sure I edited it, but if there are any mistakes, please tell me!! So today, all of the guys ran off, so I'm just going to do the thank you's myself!
