3 More Months
Your FaultJessica's POV
---
"Go back?" Yuri asked.
I nodded, "I need to take care of my mom."
"What about Krystal?" she asked.
"What about her?" I responded.
"You're going to bring Krystal back to where your mom lives, where there is alcohol, men, and beatings?" she asked skeptically.
I thought about it and Yuri was right.
I looked up at Yuri while she was fixing the icepack.
Yuri looked down at me.
"I'll let Krystal stay here, and you guys can take care of her while I leave." I said to her.
Yuri looked at me before responding, "Why don't you just stay with us?" she asked.
"I need to take care of my mom." I said to Yuri.
Yuri looked at me with her eyebrows furrowed, thinking.
Suddenly her eyes widened, "I can hire someone to take care of her."
I just looked at her.
"They can check on her daily."
I shook my head, "I don't trust anyone with her."
Yuri grabbed my hands and looked into my eyes, "Please? You can't just leave your little sister like that."
I hissed when she grabbed my hand, because of my wrist.
She turned her head to the side, wondering why I made that noise.
She rolled my sweater sleeve up and gasped at the swollen red wrist that I had.
"Omo! Jessica! Did I do this?" she said while examining the wrist carefully.
"No, you didn't. If I wasn't struggling this wouldn't have happened."
She ignored me, "Ah! Mianhe, Mianhe."
She grabbed the icepack and took it off my stomach, placing it on my wrist. l my teeth at the sudden coldness.
"Ah, sorry." she said.
I watched her frown while she patted the icepack on my wrist.
I mentally smiled at how worried she was.
She looked up at me after a minute, "Stay here." she pleaded.
It was more like a demand than a plead.
For some unknown reason, I nodded my head, agreeing.
Yuri smiled widely before focusing her attention on my wrist.
"But, that doesn't stop me from moving out in 3 months." I told her.
Her smile dropped before she put it back on.
"Okay, that means I have 3 more months with you." Yuri smiled
