This were the response of some YG artists upong being asked about YG's New girlgroup, Empress.

Its been almost a few weeks since the first rumor of YG having a new girl group appeared. The debut day was still not known to many and even the YG Staffs.

"Truth is, We are still looking for potential members of the group. Im personally handling the scouting for the members." YG Entertainment CEO, Yang Hyunsuk

Upon releasing this statement, Yang Hyunsuk also announced that while waiting for the other members, the first 3 will debut first as one of the sub group of Empress called, Ahreum.
