Characters

Jung YuNa

Age:     19 (only a few days older than her bestfriend MeiXing)

Race:     She’s Korean but she was mostly raised in California.

Residence:     Currently South Korea, but her real home is in California

Random:     When she was younger she used to visit her aunt’s house in South Korea, which is where she met Choi Minho. Her older brother and sister (who are twins) were and still are close friends of Minho’s older brother. Although she now works for SM as a writer she’s always wanted to be a choreographer and dances in her spare time. She has an overly strong sense of what is right and wrong which causes her to be overly protective. She has feelings for the youngest member of SHINee, but doesn’t understand him due to his poor choice of words and attitude towards her. She’s short, about 5’3” and Taemin makes fun of her every chance he gets.

She can sing.

Lee Taemin

Age:     17 (but his birthday is soon)

Race:     Korean through and through

Residence:     South Korea, he lives with his bandmates (at least Minho and Jonghyun)

Random:     He is a very confused boy. He’s never really experienced love and doesn’t understand what he’s doing. Taemin harshly teases YuNa without realizing he’s been taken the wrong way. In the beginning he disliked her because she made him feel “sick” (more like nervous).

Jung YuHee

Age:     Unknown (i'm to lazy to give her an age, is the same as Minho's Hyung)

Race:     Korean

Residence:     South Korea, at least until she finishes her internship. Her family lives in California.

Random:     She has an older twin brother who is best friends with Minho’s Hyung. As a kid she played with her brother and Yuna and Minho. She’s mature, but acts much younger than she is. She is often confused for YuNa’s twin because they look so similar. She took Minho’s first kiss

Choi Minho

Age:     18

Race:     Korea

Residence:     South Korea with his bandmates

Random:     He and YuNa used to be close as kids and are nothing more than friends. He can read YuNa even better than MeiXing and knows a lot about her even though it’s been about four years since YuNa was last in Korea. Likes YuHee, YuNa’s Uni. He is very secretive about his feelings.

Choi MeiXing

Age:     19 (only a few days younger than her best friend YuNa)

Race:     Mother is Taiwanese and father is Korean on his father’s side and White on his mother’s. [His mother lived in Korea for such a long time as a girl (because her father was stationed at Osan) that she considers herself Korean.]

Residence:     Now shares an apartment with YuNa but her home is in California

Random:     Her Korean name is ChoHee, and Korean is her third language. She is the new stylist for SHINee and hooked YuNa up with her current job as SHINee’s writer. Do to family wishes she left California to meet her ex fiancé (SHINee’s ex manager) which is how she got her job. She unexpectedly fell in love with SHINee’s Key which got her into a little trouble.

Kim Kibum

Age:     19

Race:     Korean

Residence:     Seoul, South Korea

Random:     He is very much in love with MeiXing. After all they’ve been through he’s happy that they can finally be a normal couple. He and MeiXing are sometimes referred to as KiXing which when translated into Chinese characters loosely means “first star”
