Chapter 14~ 2nd Confession, 2nd Kiss
A Heart In Two Places
Yoona sat on the floor next to the ruined sofa, no longer crying, as she was unable to anymore.
"She wasn't lying... Everything of hers is gone..." She uttered.
Heechul looked up, "At least you're ok..." He said trying to smile.
She looked at him but didn't return the smile.
She pushed herself off the ground and walked over to the cabinet that they kept family photos in.
The cabinet was still half intact, giving Yoona hope.
"But why?" She whispered to herself as she crouched down.
The cabinet door squeakily opened and Yoona was shocked.
Nothing... At all...
Until she noticed at the very back, the wood wasn't secure, and shoved between it was a piece of paper.
Yoona grunted as she leant in further making Heechul come to where she was to see what was going on.
Yoona pulled out the paper and read it.
YOONA, I GOT IN SOME TROUBLE.
I'M SORRY, I DON'T KNOW IF IT WILL AFFECT YOU OR NOT.
YOU SEE, I OWE SOMEONE A LOT OF MONEY, A LOT.
TO THE POINT THAT I COULD'NT PAY IT BACK EVEN IF A WORKED TILL THE DAY I DIE.
SO IN THE HOPES THAT YOU FIND THIS I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LET YOU KNOW EVERYTHING, BUT SOME KEY WORDS.
VICTORIA'S MOTHER.
YES, THAT GIRL YOU WORK WITH, I SAW HER ONCE, AND I THINK... I THINK SHE MIGHT NOT BE GOOD TO BE AROUND.
YOONA, I LOVE YOU.
NO MATTER WHAT...
Heechul had finished reading a few seconds after Yoona.
"So is it possible that your aunty didn't mean any of it?" He asked trying to put everything together.
"I don't know, but we might as well find out..." she said.
"I have Victoria's number" Said Heechul.
Yoona put her hand out, she wasn't in the mood to mess around.
Heechul silently passed her the phone.
Yoona went straight to contacts, when she saw YOONG in his contacts
"Oh... That... I... Umm...." He stuttered as he had realised what he had done.
"You had my number?!" She exclaimed.
"I.... Uhh...."
"All this time and never called me?" She continued as she turned and smiled at Heechul.
Her face went serious.
"Oppa, that kiss.... With Taecyeon...."
"That jerk, is never coming near you again" he said as he turned his face away and his eyes filled with hate.
"Wae?" Asked Yoona, unknowing of he situation.
Heechul turned around and smiled at Yoona.
He lifted his hand to place it on her cheek.
"Because he tried to steal what was mine"
Yoona didn't pull away. Things felt different with Heechul.
When she first met him, he was horrible, but that day, in the rain, when he carried her home and stayed by her side, when he gave her a job.... His eyes were filled with memories of kindness.
Every time Yoona saw him she felt like she still hadn't decided what he was to her yet.
It was like a jigsaw going from the edges in.
Yoona was shocked herself at what she was doing.
She lifted her arms and placed them around his neck and straight out kissed him.
She didn't know why she was doing this.
It just felt right.
When Heechul saw her put her fragile arms around his neck, he guessed what was about to happen, but thought of it as impossible.
Did she know that he liked her, or was she just being over emotional.
They both fell over and Heechul hit his head on the cabinet making Yoona pull away and laugh, but Heechul pulled her back in again, not caring whether SHE like him or not, because the moment seemed perfect.
Yoona struggled and finally pulled herself away and caught her breath.
She stood up and picked up the phone she had dropped before kissing Heechul.
"Mianhae" she said, apologising to Heechul for dropping it.
"No, so worth it" he smiled still a little out of it.
Yoona sent Victoria a text containing an address to meet at.
Yoona wanted to figure out what was going on.
"You're driving" she said as she walked to the smashed up front door.
"Can't we stay and continue this?" Asked Heechul cutely.
Yoona turned around, raised one eyebrow and then laughed.
"Later.... Maybe...."
Yoona and Heechul had been driving 10 minutes now still looking for their destination.
Finally Yoona saw it, a small sushi shop off to the left.
They parked and walked up to the front door.
Yoona wasn't expecting to see this...
