Yongguk rolled on to his side and stared at the clock on his desk. It was past eleven but he was still in haze since Daehyun left. He has been lying on his bed for over an hour now trying to take a nap. He wasn’t able to sleep the whole night for two reasons; first, his bed was occupied and sleeping on the coach was uncomfortable for him and second, his mind was filled with what happened earlier. There’s no point in pretending that he didn’t wish for something to happen. Of course, he does. Daehyun is attractive and beautiful, and it’s foolish not to want him. But a bigger part of him didn’t regret his decision. He wouldn’t push the other to do something he doesn’t like. He is willing to wait for the time that Daehyun would be ready to jump into this level.

He stifled a laugh as he discovered a new side of him. This is a way too far from his usual self. He had partners in the past but none of them made him feel this way. The day he saw the boy, he was instantly attracted to him. The usual attraction, nothing serious and his intentions were simple, know him and if lucky, have . He was successful in meeting the boy, knowing him a little and asking him out. He thought all was going smoothly but the more he got closer to the boy the more his motives became unclear. His thought trailed off as he heard his phone ringing. He stood up and picked up the device from his desk. Yongguk snorted as he saw the caller ID. He was about to reject it but decided not to for he knew the caller won’t stop until he answered it.

“hey man..where are you?..don’t tell me just woke up..” an loud excited low voice made him pulled away from the phone. He sighed as he brought it back to his ear and plumped down his bed.

“what do you want?” he asked hint of annoyance in his voice.

“easy..did I wake you up?.. cmon it’s Saturday..it’s been long since we hang out..you’re out of reach last night..so you owe me one..” Yongguk sat up, propped his left elbow on his knees and ran his hand through his hair.

“..not in the mood..maybe next time..” He was ready to hang up when he heard the other person mentioned a familiar name.

“yah..you promised that I can meet that Daehyun guy this weekend..”

“YAH!..YOU PROMISE..YOU PROMISE..YOU PROMISE..” Yongguk hissed as he contained his building irritation as the other line continued to bawl the same words.

“ARASO..see you later..” Yongguk hung up. He threw his phone on his side and covered his face with his hands.  He lazily pulled himself up and trudged his way to the bathroom as the thought of catching some sleep was completely gone.

Youngjae downed the rest of his hot chocolate before burying his face on his crossed-arms on top of the café’s bar counter. He slightly angled his head to the side as he watched the cup being twisted and played by his hand. He stared at the rainbow colored cup like it was the most interesting object in the moment.

He came in this place after coming to Daehyun’s place. He came to see his friend whom he didn’t contact or speak with for almost a week. He went to apologize to him and explained his actions. But to his disappointment, the boy was not there. Though he expected it, since he knew about Daehyun’s sleepover in that Yongguk’s house, he still hoped to find the boy in his home.
