" Hello? Sunye? Hoya? Why are you two calling? Out? Where? Hongdae? Oh... Alright. I'll go get ready. " Hye Rae hung up the phone and went to get ready. She wore a red checkered shirt with a white skirt and a pair of blue wedges. She grabbed her bag with her wallet, phone, keys and sunglasses and left her room.

She went downstairs to see her parents in the kitchen talking. " Mom! Dad! Sunye and Hoya called. They asked me to meet them at Hongdae. Is that alright with you? " She asked. " You may go. But, be back by your curfew. " Hye Rae nodded and left the house before hailing a cab to the Hongdae area. 

When she arrived at Hongdae twenty minutes later, she called her friends to find their location. A little while later, she found the both of them sipping on drinks at a nearby cafe. she went inside the cafe and put her bag down on the seat before sitting down herself. 

" What took you so long? Hoya and I were getting bored. " Sunye complained. " Well I'm sorry that you didn't tell me where you guys were. You only told me to meet you at Hongdae. " Hye Rae explained. Hoya rolled his eyes. Hye Rae laughed and faced Hoya. 

" Lee Howon. I heard you are going to debut in a new group soon. Infinite, is it? " Hye Rae asked. Hoya raised an eyebrow. " I see the aegyo queen keeps up with the news. " Hye Rae made a face. " Hey! At least I know what's happening to my friends. "

Sunye and Hoya just chuckled and finished their drinks. When they stepped out of the cafe, Hongdae was crowded with people of all ages. Wondering where they should go next, Hye Rae spotted a bubbletea shop near by and knowing about her love of bubbletea, she pulled her friends to the shop. 

When she went inside to order a drink, she bumped into someone and their things dropped on the floor. Hye Rae noticed it and immediately helped that person pick up their things. " I'm so sorry! " she apologised. When the person looked up, she knew that Hye Rae was it. 

" It's alright. But are you interested in joining and entertainment company? " the person asked. Hye Rae was shocked. " Excuse me? Entertainment company? " the person nodded and gave her a card. " I'm on of the staff of this company. Call this number if you're interested and we can schedule you an appointment. " With that, the person left the shop. 

Hye Rae looked down at the card. * Woollim Entertainment, huh? I guess I could give it a shot... * She placed the card in her bag and went to order her drink. 

When she left the shop, she found Sunye and Hoya sitting near a bench and went there. The both of them looked up and raised an eyebrow. " What took you so long? Hoya and I have been waiting for you for a long time. " Hye Rae rolled her eyes. 

" Complain all you want. I just bumped into a staff member and she gave me a business card. " Hoya raised his eyebrow. " A card? Let me see. " Hye Rae took out the card from her bag and gave it to him. 

" Isn't this my company? " Hye Rae's ears perked up. " Really? You're from Woollim? " Hoya nodded. " Alright! I will probably call them tonight to tell them I'm interested. " Hoya's eyes widened and Sunye giggled. 

When Hye Rae got home that night, she discussed with her parents about the audition and they agreed to let her audition. 

" You're just like your brother, Hye Rae. " Her mother said which made Hye Rae confused. " You two siblings are street casted by entertainment companies. " *Ah... So that's what she meant. * 

After the discussion, Hye Rae went back to her room and called the number on the card. " Hello? " The person on the other line spoke. 

" Um, Hi. I would like to tell you that my parents approve and that I'm interested in joining the company. " Hye Rae replied. " Ah... The girl at Hongdae. Alright. Is, tomorrow alright for you? "

Hye Rae's eyes brightened, " Yes! It's fine! " The person on the other line chuckled, " Good. I'll see you tomorrow, 12 noon. " With that, the person hung up. Hye Rae felt happier than ever and even did a little dance around her room. 

Suddenly, the ringing of a phone ruined everything. she went to her bed and answered the phone. 

" NOOOOOOONNNNNAAAAA!!!!! " Almost immediately, she faced the phone away from her ear as an all too familiar voice shouted.

" Yes, Sehun? " She replied. " Noona! You got scouted by Woollim Entertainment at Hongdae?! " He shouted. " Yes, Sehun. Hye Rae noona got scouted. " Another cry of joy could be heard before he hung up the phone. 

The next day, Hye Rae set off early and went to Woollim Entertainment for the audition. At the company, the receptionist led her to one of the studios for audition and she met a few INFINITE boys who were with Hoya. A few of them recognised her and greeted her, " Hello, Hye Rae noona! " 

She bowed back and followed the receptionist. She knocked on the door and went inside for the audition which was successful. 

But after a year and half, Hye Rae was transfered to JYP entertainment for another year and a half. During these 3 years or maybe ealier, she met, ahem... her other half.
